What is MO?
What We Do-- Who we Help The members of the White Shrine are proud to have assisted, by means of the Material Objective, in the rehabilitation of paraplegics, quadriplegics and Spinal injuries caused by accident or birth; it has assisted in the purchase, of limb prosthesis, hearing aids, dentures, TDDs (used to help deaf people communicate by phone), hearing dogs, wheelchair patients; it has assisted in defraying the expense of major and minor surgeries, medical, doctor, and therapy bills; it has assisted those afflicted with severe muscle and nerve diseases and disorders, birth defects, fire and electrical burns, heart attacks and accident victims as well as general health problems. The Material Objective is widespread in its application.

When a need is identified, it is administered by the local White Shrine of Jerusalem. Information regarding the case is processed by the Supreme Material Objective Board. | |
The Material Object Fund This fund is raised by voluntary contribution from members of Subordinate Shrines. Each Sojourner is urged to contribute at least one cent a week or 52 cents per year. All monies paid into the Material Object Fund received by Supreme Shrine is deposited as a special fund known as the Material Objective general or working fund. This money can only be disbursed upon written orders of the Supreme Material Objective Board. Material Objective Endowment Fund The Endowment Fund consists of all monies contributed to the fund of Shrines or Individuals through Life Memberships or in Memoriam, Gifts or Bequests. No part of the capital of this fund shall ever be spent for any purpose, but shall forever remain Intact and shall perpetually held in trust, and kept Invested for the purpose of which same was created; namely, that all earnings from same shall be placed in the Material Objective working fund and expended by the Material Objective Board as provided by Supreme Law. Life Memberships Life Memberships are Available to individuals for the sum of $25.00 or more . These Life Memberships will be in lieu of further contributions to the Material Objective Fund. Contributors will receive an engraved certificate of Memberships. IN MEMORIAM Contributions of $5.00 or more may be made in memory of loved ones, parents, relatives, friends, Sojourners or others. Acknowledgments of contributions will be made on an especially designed card engraved in the persons designated by the Donor. All Remittances Should Be Sent To The Supreme Worthy Scribe |

The Material Objective fund of the Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem, Is the Charitable, Benevolent Fund of the Organization. The purpose of this Fund is to pay for Rehabilitation Costs for those Individuals who have no means of obtaining assistance.
