2 new height charts to the Safety ID Program! They are much appreciated!
Brethren &
Friends,

Safety ID events coming up in the very near future, and we are going to
need your help:
-
May 31 (Memorial
Day): Massena Rescue Squad Open House fundraiser
-
-
-
l
-
June 14 & 15:
Massena Jr. High 7th Grade
-
July17: Colton Days
Festival
-
August 4: St. Lawrence
County Fair, Gouverneur
-
August 15: Massena
Olde Car Club event at Barnhart Island
Thank You to everyone
who helped out with our several NY Masonic Safety ID events over the past
couple of weeks. We held 5 successful events in that short time.
Many Brothers and friends are responsible for the success of this program
in our region, and for that we are grateful. They have sacrificed
their time and energy to keep it going, and it shows the true nature of
our Brotherhood, with teamwork and dedication. As a bonus, we got
a lot of good publicity, and maybe a possible future candidate or two.
Our District Deputy
RW Tom Jenison, and AGL RW Randy Ball helped with the communication of
the events, and transport of the equipment. Massena Police Chief
Timmy Currier provided 2 excellent venues for us at the Rescue Squad on
Memorial Day and the Heritage Festival in June.
The volunteers involved:
Morris Putnam
Everett Hampton
Bob Mulvaugh
Clark Johnstone
Jeffrey Marrin
Gerry Alden
Howard Busch
Dewitt Forbes
Bernard Pitts
Terry DuBray
Bill Schoen
Randy Ball
Phil Spaddacini
Brian Hammond
Joe Rutherford
Thanks go to Massena
Police Officers Brian LaBarge, Adam Love, and Chris Flynn, who assisted
with some of the participating families.
We have 2 events
scheduled for the summer so far: July 17 is the date for the Colton
festival with High Falls Lodge; and August 15 is for the Massena
Olde Car Club Car Show at Barnhart Beach. Both of these events were
fun last year (good food too), and we're looking forward to them!
Thank you, and we
hope to see you there!
Sincerely & Fraternally,
John D. Schneider

Blood Donor
Program News
The
Masonic Blood Donor Program Committee is having another successful year.
However, we need you and your brethren, friends, and family to continue
to recognize that the “Gift of Life” can only be provided by caring and
concerned individuals who donate on a regular basis. The maintenance of
an adequate and safe community blood supply is part of our responsibility.
Let’s help meet it!
AS
A BLOOD DONOR
Do
not forget! The need of Blood does not discriminate, i.e., Mason or non-Mason!
You never know when you, or a loved one, might need to make withdrawal
from a blood bank, so you had better begin making some deposits!
