God of our Fathers and Mothers, God of All People, Great Architect of the Universe. Walk with us this day as we stand together as Masons, as Family and friends, to dedicate this Masonic Cemetery: A resting place for the earthly remains of the Brothers and their Wives of Honolulu Lodge and Our Ancestor, Pacific Lodge.
We commend to thee O Lord, the souls of our departed Brothers.
Dear God, Bless our Brothers who came before us, those Brothers who no longer walk this earthly path, but now reside with you, forever in your Heavenly Lodge. We pray thee O Lord, instill in us who stand here today the same spirit of Masonic Service that inspired our departed Brothers during their earthly lives.
Let us walk alongside our Patrons: Saint John the Baptist and Saint John the Evangelist. Let us walk in the footsteps of the Poor Knights of King Solomon’s Temple and give us the insight to remember our Masonic Brothers of the American Revolution: Samuel Adams, John Hancock, Benjamin Franklin, Patrick Henry, George Washington, and so many others, whose names, only you know.
Dear Lord, guide the Brothers of Honolulu Lodge in the Spirit of Brotherly Love, Relief and Truth that you have taught us throughout the ages. Renew in us, O Lord, The path of Masonic Brotherhood that led our departed Brothers, Worshipful Henry Cooper and Clinton Ripley to meet at Ripley House, just next to where we now stand, to found Pacific Lodge in the Year of Our Lord, Eighteen Hundred and Ninety Five.
Today, as we dedicate this earthly resting place, we pray thee O Lord, inspire us to dedicate ourselves in that Spirit of Masonic Service that has led Freemasons from time immemorial.
In your Holy Name, we Pray, Amen
John Condello
