Aloha Brothers, These are proud times for Honolulu Lodge. On Saturday May 11th the Honolulu Scottish Rite held a one-day class to confer the 4th thru 32nd degrees of Masonry. They initiated 17 new members, 7 of which were Honolulu Lodge brothers, Monty Glover, Tim Grant, Luis Moran Jr., Bart Canada, Sean McDougal and Eric Montanez. Brother Louis Moran Sr. completed his degrees later due to his work assignment. Congratulations brothers! Photos page 3 In celebration of Armed Forces Day, which was on Saturday May 18th we
held a Military Night Degree on Tuesday May 14th. It was very impressive
to see our military brothers in their uniforms. Matthew Scott, Senior
Deacon sat in the East and conferred the Entered Apprentice Degree for
our three new brothers, Brian Dai Jhou Wong, Jacob Elmer Wurthner and
Arthur Louis Varady. Photos on page 4 I was unable to preside over our stated meeting on Tuesday June 4th however
Senior Warden Dave Franklin did an excellent job given the short notice.
The brothers voted to confer the first three degrees of Masonry on candidates,
Jose Ramon Rosal-Cernuda and David Harold Sandoval. Brother Dennis Dmytro
Urbanski recently moved to Honolulu with his wife from Canada. The brothers
voted on his affiliation and I would like to extend to him my warmest
Aloha. Congratulations also to brother Jacob Wurthner on doing an excellent
job on his Entered Apprentice proficiency, keep up the good work. |
