Many of the brothers of Honolulu Lodge spent a part this past weekend helping kids and parents participate in the Keiki ID program. This event, which was held on May 16th & 17th at the Neal Blaisdell Convention Center, provides families with information about the Keiki ID program as well as offer the kit free of charge.
A Keiki ID kit is a preventative tool to help recover missing children. It includes spaces for a child’s fingerprints, photo, dental chart (for a dentist to fill in), and a DNA sample (a strand of hair from the child’s hairbrush).
Honolulu Lodge was not the only lodge present however. Brothers from Pearl Harbor, Le Progress and Koolau Lodge also joined in the even, which was spearheaded by the Grand Lodge of Hawaii.
