Hello everybody!

Here is a brief synopsis of some of the events our Bethel participated in over the past month or so...

• In February, several adults stood in for our Daughter and assisted Alexandria-Washington Lodge in celebrating George Washington's Birthday with a special ceremony and dinner. The girls decided instead to attend the annual Sweetheart Ball at Kena in Fairfax. The following day a few adults attended Bethel 1's annual Potato Lunch in Arlington before heading over to the Temple for our meeting that evening, which to our great surprise was attended by the SUPREME GUARDIAN, Mom Shirley Bryngelson and ASSOCIATE SUPREME GUARDIAN, Dad Ashley Underwood, live and in person. Not to mention that the Grand Guardian of VA, Mom Mary Strehle was there along with the Master of Alexandria-Washington Lodge, WM Frank Skwirut and the District Deputy Grand Master, RW David Silver and several other distinguished guests. We were all pretty star-struck.
• Grand Visitations in February were not very well attended by our Bethel, unfortunately. However, they are coming back up our way, and hopefully some of us can get the time to get out to them before the end of the term.
• March was just as busy as the previous months. On the 6th the Bethel attended Prince William DeMolay's Installation. The following weekend we attended a Talent Show sponsored by Bethel 1 for their E&P Project. It was a very well put together event and we even had one of our own participate. Nathalie played the piano and left many speechless. Great job Nathalie! After the Talent Show the adults took the girls on a little Mystery Trip to play some laser tag. It was 15 minutes of fury and strategy for some. Others just stood around and shot their own team members. Needless to say, we lost, but we had a good time. Also in March was Alexandria-Washington DeMolay's Spring Fling. I think I would concur that it was LOUD but fun.
