NEW MEMBERS

So you are interested in becoming a member of The Valley of Springfield, AASR. We would be pleased to have you join us and continue in your Masonic philosophy of, Faith, Hope, and Charity.

Below are the prerequisites to becoming a member.

1. That you are a Master Mason in good standings. If not a Master Mason, you will need to find a lodge in your area by going to this LINK, and then contacting that lodge and members. You will then need to have a Petition to receive the degrees in Masonry filled out.(right-click Save target as to download pdf form.).
2. You are now or have become a Master Mason you need to petition the Valley by filling out our Petition (right-click Save target as to download pdf form.), following the direction their on, and mail it to the Valley Sec. or the person who you received it from.
3. You will then be notified of the date(s) of our Reunion and times, to receive your degrees in the AASR.

As a member we hope that you take an active role in our Valley, by helping put our degrees on, or taking part in the "behind the scenes" part of our Reunions. Getting involved with activities put on by the Valley,like our, baseball trips, golf outings, family picnics, and other activities. Remember "you only get out what you put in", the more active you are, the more fun you will have.

RETENTION

The Membership and Retention Team has been developing ideas in an effort to improve membership numbers in the Valley of Springfield.  We are looking for additional members to assist in our telephone contact campaign to help in maintaining our present numbers and bring in new members.

  We are looking to have degree presentations in the future in the following areas: 

Decatur, Hillsboro, Jacksonville and Lincoln
