For those that may have an interest in joining the Masonic fraternity, I encourage you continue your research and study of our order, however the regret I hear most often from men on becoming Masons is that they put off petitioning as long as they did. When the time comes that you feel ready to join a lodge of Freemasons, if you live in our jurisdiction and meet the requirements set forth by The Grand Lodge of Kentucky, please contact us. Bear in mind that you will never receive an invitation to become a Mason. We expect all men to come to us of their own free will and accord, so that Masonry has no promises to fulfill or expectation to live up to, except those that the individual brother makes to himself.

I would like to express my thanks to the members of Sievers Lodge for electing me to serve as Master for 2009. It is a great honor for me to have such a mark of favor and confidence bestowed upon me by my brethren. With their help I hope to do justice to the office to which I have been elected and leave it in as good a condition as it was left to me.
