and most of the labor performed by the members, the new
Lodge quickly took shape. The original structure consisted only
of the present Lodge Room, the lavatory areas, the entrance
hall, and an office. A later addition in the early 70's expanded
the building to include the present dining hall and kitchen
areas. A new roof put on in 1994. The trusses were built in
Conway and a 3 year loan was obtained to pay for them. Brother
Billy Holmes laid block on the back side and shingled the roof
with help from the members. Brother Billy also built the
cabinets in the Kitchen. Hammond Organ, Symbols
and Furniture
Bill McGrath was instrumental in obtaining an
organ and many of the symbols and furniture used in the Lodge
today, including jewels and officer aprons, two pillars, three
podiums, an Altar, scarves, the three lesser lights, and chairs.
According to Bill, a Hungarian family by the name of Bokavok,
after immigrating to the United States, had acquired substantial
wealth. Mr. Bokavok was a Mason and a member of Kensington Lodge
#198 in Maryland; his wife was active in the
