Brethren,

    As I now prepare this my final message as Worshipful Master of this Lodge. I must first thank the Great Architect for his Blessings, Guidance, and Strength and Support. It is with the most sincere and fraternal gratitude I say thanks you to my Officers, Brethrens, and friends of our district. It has been truly an extreme pleasure to have been elected and serve as Master of this great lodge. This lodge has always been a guiding pillar of support, strength, leadership, and with the fortitude to lead onward. These qualities and attributes are what distinguish us as a great lodge within the District and our State. These same qualities are why we are second to none, and always ready to establish or lead the way.

    In 1858 Most Worshipful William Mercer Wilson Grand Master of Canada wrote the following, To become the Model Master of a Lodge should be the ambition of every Brother, and to discharge with efficiency and zeal are the duties of that important office should be the most anxious desire. To be a Worshipful Master who dispenses light and information among the craft, whose duty and high privilege it is to diffuse the beams of light and to scatter abroad the seeds of truth. The cement with which he has bound the brethrens together is not confined to the lodge room, but it is carried out into the world and practical illustrations of Friendship and Brotherly love are daily Exemplified.

    My Brethren, please extend the most esteem assistance to our new Master and his Officers, and continue to make this Lodge a pillar within the craft and our district.

 Finally, my Brethren may you and your families have a truly blessed and enjoyable Holidays filled with good cheers. May your New Year be bountiful and filled with the most gracious blessings. Always, remember our Men and women serving our country and scattered throughout the world, keep them and their family in your prayer. Remember to keep in your prayer all our Brothers and Sister who are ill or shut in.
