Masonic Unity Festivals
A Big Success
The
Unity Festival’s were a big success this year. 770 new Master
Masons were raised in Illinois on August 10th. It is good to see that
Masonry is not dying out. Let’s challenge ourselves for the
coming year by trying to bring in at least one new member each to
Masonry.

Elburn
Days Parade
Let’s
all give our Worshipful Master a big round of applause. Despite
the low turn-out, he was determined to make a good showing for
Blackberry Lodge at the parade on our behalf. A special thanks to
his family for the assistance in handing out candy to the children.

Building
Update
Over
the summer, we had the roof leak repaired by Malcor Roofing in Aurora.
We also had Ron Pondelick repair the chimney and do the tuck-pointing on
the building. Thanks to the recent break in our Real Estate tax
bill, we were able to pay off the entire bill for the repairs.
