Loves Park Lodge #1145 3rd Northern District Site We have divided this Short Talk Bulletin into two parts. Part One-History and Part Two-Recommendations and Conclusions. The very brief history of early Freemasonry in Europe is both concise and informative. Part Two, Conclusions and Recommendations, is very, very significant. In this section Brother Markham explains the importance of involving professional general historians, who are not members of the Craft, to help show Freemasonry as " the remarkable historic institution, beneficial to humanity, which it is."

Masonic Troop Support Program - Supporting Masonic Troops and Their Families!

Here is their Introduction.
In March of 2007, under the guidance of the Masonic
Leadership Institute, seven Freemasons (“Team Freedom”)
developed the idea to begin a Masonic Military support
program to send care packages and other needed items
to our Brother Troops abroad. We first built an
interactive web site as a communication outlet,
for the Service men and women - as well as their
families - for contact and support during this time
of separation. It is our next goal to reach as many
Freemason servicemen (and fellow Service men and
women who have Masonic families back home) with
packages of home based items and local letters of
appreciation. This is the first Troop Support
Program for Freemasons stationed abroad. On Memorial
Day Weekend of 2007 we officially shipped our first
 package to Iraq.

Are you looking for a way to show your support for our troops overseas? With
Operation Komando, we can all do our part in helping the troops serving our country.
Check this one out before you decide. It has a lot of hints!

P-S Review of Freemasonry

During July 1942, seven months after the United States entered World War II, magazines
nationwide featured the American flag on their covers. Adopting the slogan United We Stand,
some five hundred publications waved the stars and stripes to promote national unity,
rally support for the war, and celebrate Independence Day.
