HOMECOMING LODGE MEETING

The primary purpose of the Homecoming Lodge Meeting is to generate a renewed interest in the Lodge and to re-forge that Fraternal bond that we all share.  We will also be conducting a refresher for ALL Tahattawan members on Lodge proceedings.  The refresher will cover:

Opening / closing the Lodge
Due guards, signs, words and grips for all Degrees
How to enter & leave an open Lodge
What to do when visiting another Lodge, etc.

Your brother Masons would like to welcome you to our Homecoming Meeting on Mon, October 24th.  We haven’t seen you at the Lodge meetings and events recently and would like you to know that you are missed!  This October meeting is focused on coming home to your Lodge!

SPECIAL INVITATION.  I’d like to extend a special invitation to you, as well as your wife and family, to attend our Homecoming Meeting this month.  Your dinner will be free, followed by a short business meeting, while the families enjoy dessert and a movie.

RENOVATIONS TO LODGE.  There have been many improvements to the Lodge building over the last few years, and we’d like to show off the redecorated Lodge room to everyone, just prior to the Homecoming Lodge Meeting.

TIME AND PLACE.  Dinner begins at 6 PM on Mon, October 24th.  The Tahattawan Homecoming Meeting is to be held at the Lodge in Littleton (310 King St – Rt. 110 / 2A).

RSVP by Wed, Oct 19th.  Please let us know whether you can attend, so our Junior Warden can plan properly for the Dinner.  Simply fill out the enclosed, postage-paid card and drop it in the mail.  If it is more convenient, you can RSVP by phone to Ed Burg at 978-501-5525, or by Email at mooseb@comcast.net .

We’re looking forward to seeing all of you!

Michael K. Higgins

Worshipful Master

P.S. – For 60 days beginning Sep 1, 2005, all suspended Masons have the opportunity to re-establish lodge membership by paying only their 2006 dues – previous unpaid balances up to five years will be waived.  If a brother has moved to a different part of the state or would prefer to join a different lodge, he may affiliate with any lodge close to his home.  Would you help pass this information on to any brothers you may know whose membership has expired by demit or suspension from unpaid dues.  If you have questions on this please contact us.  Thanks!
