Chesley
Wix, 89, of Louisville died
Wednesday August 15, 2007 at the V. A.
Medical Center.
He was a native of Macon
County, TN. He was a auto body man for 50
years, and owner operator of Wix & Sons he
also owned Dover Lake, and Wix Horseshoe
Lake. He was an Army veteran of World War
II. He was a member of Robinson Masonic
Lodge #266, Scottish Rite, and Kosair
Shrine.
He is preceded in death by his wife,
Virginia Ree Carroll Wix. He is survived by
his children, Louis Wix (Helen), David Wix
(Gwen), Shirley Marie Herrensmith (Larry),
Janice Ann Huff (Jones), Ernie Wix (Vickie)
, and Ray Wix (Mary Kay); 14 grandchildren
and 23 great-grandchildren. His good friend
Hilda Hall, and a half brother and sister.
His funeral will be Saturday 10 a.m. at Owen
Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy. Burial in
Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation
Thursday 5-9 p.m. and Friday 12 noon to 9
p.m. In lieu of flowers family request
expressions be made in the form of donations
for Trevor Wix medical expenses at any BB&T
Bank location.
