William "Bill" Sowder, 84, of
Louisville, passed away Wednesday, October
28, 2009.
He was a retired bus driver with the Transit
Authority of River City, he was a U.S. Army
Veteran of World War II and a member of
Robinson Masonic Lodge # 266.
He was preceded in death by his daughter,
Tracey Lynn; and sisters, Bea, Ruth and
Helen.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years,
Recie; his daughter, Peggy Hagerman (Steve);
son, Greg Sowder; two grandsons, Nathan
Sowder and Steve Lewis Hagerman II; one
granddaughter, Raven Alexandra Hagerman;
sister, Rose; brother, R.H. Sowder;
stepsister, Berlyene Bumgardner.
His funeral service will be held Saturday at
noon at Ratterman Funeral Home, Southside
Drive, with burial in Bethany Memorial
Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from
3-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family would like to express their great
appreciation to their neighbors that Bill so
dearly Loved, Terry, Lisa and Rowena.
Pearson- Raterman Brothers Funeral Home in
Middletown is in charge of arrangements.
Masonic Service will be at 6:00 pm at the
Funeral Home.
