JERRY LaRUE ROCK, 62, a native of
Hodgenville, KY, passed away March 2, 2010
at his residence after a courageous battle
with cancer and a devoted follower of
Christ.
He is retired from the U.S. Postal Service
and retired CSM U.S. Army Special Forces Air
Born Ranger and a highly decorated Vietnam
veteran, a member of the Robinson Masonic
Lodge 266 F & AM and a member of Highview
Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents,
Charlie and Sylvia Rock.
Survived by his beloved wife, Cheri' Rock; a
devoted father of Scott and Rebecca Rock;
grandchildren, Jordon, and Jared Rock and
Gabe Miles; brothers, Donald (Roberta),
Billy Joe (Dean), Charles (Alice) and
Timothy (Debbie) Rock; and sisters, Thelma
Little (Jim) and Sarah Daniels (Pat).
A celebration of Jerry's life will be held
at Evergreen Funeral Home, 10 a.m. Saturday
with burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon-8 p.m. Friday.
