Robert Cloyde Clendenin Jr., 87, died
Wednesday, July 1, 2009.
He was an electrical contractor and owner of
Quik Service Electric Co., a Navy veteran of
World War II, Deacon Emeritus at Hunsinger
Lane Baptist Church, a 60 year member of
Robinson Lodge #266 (formerly Excelsior
Lodge #258), a member of Scottish Rite,
Kosair Shrine and VFW and a KY Colonel.
He was preceded in death by his parents,
Robert and Gladys Clendenin; sister, Helen
West; and brother, James A. Clendenin.
He is survived by his wife, the former
Shirley Williams; children, Lori Esterle
(Josh), Linda Schaaf, Robert K. Clendenin,
Debbie Lush (Mike), Mike Cundiff (Rita) and
Steve Cundiff (Marilyn); 10 grandchildren;
11 great-grandchildren; and sister, Ruth
West.
His funeral is 10 a.m. Monday at Fern Creek
Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road with
burial in Resthaven Memorial Park.
Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Sunday.
