I completed my term as Master of Dawson Lodge and duly installed my successor, Worshipful Brother Angelo Valera, at a special communication of Dawson Lodge on 15 December 1996. It is customary for the immediate Past Master of the Lodge to be appointed Marshal, but, since I served as Installing Officer, my installation as Marshal will take place at a later date (most likely the first communication in January, if there is no blizzard this year).
