How old is the Solar System? And Is there Anyone Out There?
First Reported - October 2005
If you just read our opening page you were informed that a new planet has been found.
First discovered in 1983, this planet is called 'Andromeda', Marduk or
Nibiru as it was known in very ancient times. It is the
legendary '10th' planet prophesied to signal the begining of the end for us.

is not very big judging from the light it reflects but what they don't know is that the upper
stratosphere of the planet has been sprinkled with gold particles to prevent
the suns ultraviolet rays from damaging the delicate atomsphere on the planets surface.
Zecharia Sitchen explains how our Earth was
formed in a collison with a satallite from this planet in his book Genesis
Revisited, first printed in 1990. However when he wrote The 12th
planet in 1976, he predicted that Andromeda would be found because of his extensive
studies of ancient Sumerian texts. These texts are written on stone cylinders
and stone tablets and are over 5000 years old. We use them over and over here to
prove a point... Man had knowledge before any bible was written...Extensive scientific
knowledge!
We cover these texts exclusively in our "Enuma Elish" tablets series. We use some
of them here in this series because they match the stories in Genesis, sometimes almost

10th Planet
The planet was discovered using the Samuel Oschin Telescope at Palomar
Observatory near San Diego, Calif. The discovery was announced today by
planetary scientist Dr. Mike Brown of the California Institute of Technology
in Pasadena, Calif., whose research is partly funded by NASA.
May 1, 2006 For those of you thinking Nibiru doesn't exist then why is the US now
installing a huge telescope in Antartica (the only real viewpoint for planet X) . In fact now
there are several countries building telescopes down south but no one is putting them up
in the artic. Wonder why??
NASA found Planet X on Dec 30th, 1983; made an announcement the following week
and promptly retracted it . Govt has suppressed any public information on it as well as info
from all the big astronomical observatories since. We get inside info from observatory and
upper echelon govt leaks, but the public will never be made aware of this until it happens.
Reasons? Panic, turmoil, financial crash - the powers to be will try to maintain some
semblence of order right up until they head for their bunkers.
By August 2001 the disinformation on the newly discovered planet
had changed to the
LARGEST ASTERIOD EVER and it's now shown as blue. It's the same label on a different object.
Ceres, the first asteroid (minor planet) to be discovered in the Solar System, has held the
record as the largest known object of its kind for two centuries.
However, recent observations at the European Southern Observatory with the world's first
operational virtual telescope 'Astrovirtel' have determined that the newly discovered distant
asteroid "2001 KX76" is significantly larger, with a diameter of 1200 km, possibly even 1400 km.
At a time when Planet X is so close as to be competing with the Sun at noon, visible by
the unaided eye, and well tracked to this point by many sunrise and sunset sightings and
photos, in the manner and in the time frame we predicted, and at a time when earthquakes
have increased to the point, as we predicted, to being noticeable, affecting population centers
so they cannot be denied by underreporting in the quake databases, the bad dates stand
as an exception.
The scientific find of the century
"Those who from Heaven came
to Earth!" Where did they come from?
It seems irrefutable that Vulcan, a brown dwarf star and our Sun's dark star companion,
exists. Not only is it found both in the ~3200 year old Bible Code (List 2 #1) as well as the Vedic
predictions (List 6), but it is found in other artifacts often described as of alien origin. See List 7:

The new planet was first photographed in 1993 but it
wasn't confirmed until this year that it was actually a planet. Sitchen predicted
the planet would be found in 1976 because the Sumerian tablets record its presence
6000 years ago. The problem is that this planet orbits the Sun
clockwise and only orbits our solar system once every 3600
years. This is because it has a wide apogee
which is explained in the book When Time Began-Zacharia Sitchen .
Our other planets orbit counterclockwise...except for Pluto. Why does Pluto orbit
in the opposite direction? Its path is ellipical and retrograde like Halley's
comet. So is the path of Nibiru. Does that put Nibiru on a collision cource with Earth?
If so you won't hear it from NASA or anybody else because widespread panic would take
over and there's no where to run.
Scientific Publications
"Is it perhaps Planet X?" - An article published in Washington Post in January,
1983.
....In spite of the official denials, a disclosure did leak out at the end
of the year. It came in the form of an exclusive interview of the key IRAS
scientists by Thomas O’Toole of the science service of the Washington Post. The
story, generally ignored - suppressed, perhaps-was carried by several dailies,
which variously headlined it “Giant Object Mystifies Astronomers,”
“Mystery Body Found in Space,” and “At Solar System’s Edge Giant Object is a Mystery”.
The opening paragraphs of the exclusive story began thus:
WASHINGTON-A heavenly body possibly as large as the giant planet Jupiter
and possibly so close to Earth that it would be part of this solar system has been
found in the direction of the constellation Orion by an
orbiting telescope called the Infra-red Astronomical Observatroy (IRAS.)
So Mysterious is the object that astrononomers do not know if it is a planet,
a giant comet, a protostar, that never got hot enough to become a star, a distant
galaxy so young that it is still in the process of forming its first stars, or
a galaxy so shrouded in the dust that none of the light cast by its stars ever
gets through...All I can tell you is that we don't know what it is."
23:50 01 May 2009: The discovery of a 2- to 3-kilometre-wide asteroid in an orbit that
goes backwards has set astronomers scratching their heads. It comes closer to Earth than
any other object in a 'retrograde' orbit, and astronomers think they should have spotted it before.
The object, called 2009 HC82, was discovered
by the Catalina Sky Survey in Arizona on the morning of 29 April.
From observations of its position by five different groups, Sonia Keys of the International
Astronomical Union's Minor Planet Center initially calculated it orbits the sun every 3.39 years.
New observations suggest it travels on a path that ventures within 15 million km of the Earth's orbit.
What's really unusual is that the calculated orbit is inclined 155° to the plane of the Earth's orbit.
That means that as it orbits the Sun, it actually travels backwards compared to the planets. It
is only the 20th asteroid known in a retrograde orbit, a very rare group. None of the others
comes as close to the Earth.

calculated a month ago that at it's present speed that it would arrive in 3.5 years. 2012?"
"He said also that he had heard from the group there that Hubble is
being used to monitor this situation with PX very closely and an
observatory in Kilauea Hawaii. Also, the point was made that THEY
know it's inbound and are very worried about what it will do when it
passes because of its size. He said it could be very devastating."
"I asked him how he found out about it, and he said something about
being part of a team that had been researching it for five years,
and only this spring was it confirmed. He said, "I hope you're not
working for the government."
The reason that it is not being seen anywhere except in the far south is because it's
path is bringing it towards Earth almost directly beneath the South Pole, a "blind spot" for
astronomers. It is now expected that it will just suddenly become visible just a few
days before it passes Earth. Perhaps 10 days? or 7? The Word of God does say that
"the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night," 2 Peter 3:10. This indicates suddenly,
unexpectedly, etc.
Was the Hubble Telescope ,
lauched in 1990, part of a mission to find out? Although not yet featured on this
site, the new planet will probably become the center of Hubble's attention in the
coming months. However you may not hear anything else
about it because of the danger it could impose on us..

The devastation of Hurricane Katrinia is just a sample of things to come.
But it should send a clear message that the area should not be resettled
because next time it will be worse and more low-lying areas will be affected
including South Florida, not just from the force of gravity of the approaching planet,
but from Global warming.
The planet Nibiru has circled our Sun before.
According to Sumerian records, Nibiru visits our solar system only once
every 3600 years. Sitchen says the flood was the cause of the end of the ice age
sometime around 10,000 BC. By our calculations 10,388 BC. According to the
Sumerian text, some 11,000 years ago when the planet passed, debris brought
with it slamed into the Earth and triggered the flood some say was from a huge
tsnuanmi...probably several of them (Enoch's books indicate 7). At any rate the
tsnuanmi near the Persian Gulf pushed the Ark high up on Mount Ararat in Turkey where
it is believed to still be, under a sheet of ice. Large boulders used as anchors have been found in the
area and one man has found fragments of wood said to be identical with that of the Ark.
Nibiru, up to this point, had come nearest the Sun (perigee) every 3, 600 years or
so until this Deluge--causing perigee, 10,900 B.C.E. . This perigee, Miranda, a moon of Nibiru,
hit Uranus and became a moon of Uranus. The gravitational pull of Uranus on Nibiru sped
Nibiru's orbit around the Sun to 3,450 Earth-years. Nibiru's next perigee, when it's again
closest to Earth, will be around 2900A.D., not 2012, as it would have been had it continued
the 3,600 year revolutions around Solaris. [Sitchin, Z., 2007, The End of Days, page 316].
The 3,600 orbital period is inferred by Sitchin from the ancient king lists - which all contain
multiples of 3,600 for the lengths of reigns. This is more likely to be due to the Sumerians using a
60 based numbering sysytem and their regarding 60 x 60 as a divine number. This numbering still
survives in minutes and seconds. 3,600 is therefore the number of seconds in 1 hour. There is no
direct evidence in the ancient texts for a time period for the orbit. The other factor that is important
here is that an orbit that is further out than Mars does not pose a threat to life on Earth.
"And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were
a lamp…And the name of the star is called Wormwood…and many men died"… (Revelation 8:10-11)
While the more dramatic accounts forecast Planet X's arrival later this year, some maintain the
shattering specter will occur later in 2012 (the last year on the Mayan calendar),
or even 2078. Others claim it could be thousands or even millions of years before the tenth
planet orbits near Earth once again.
Surprisingly, a number of professional astronomers at the world's top observatories share
the view that there is a tenth planet out in space. Scientific reports conclude that the
gravitational pull of this tenth planet, a planet now observable by most telescopes, is
already disturbing the heavens and causing what the astronomers call "perturbation."
The Egyptians knew this star, Sirius, as Dogon, the "Dog Star" and worshipped it under
its guise as Anubis, the jackal-headed god. From its name were also derived the names of the
chief deities of the Egyptian religion and culture, Osiris (Lord of the underworld) and Isis
(the star goddess).
Noah, the Giants and the Flood
Amazingly, the Holy Bible, in Genesis 6, describes an early time in the days of Noah
when these star gods—in reality, (Satan and the fallen angels), the Nephilim—committed the
abomination of mating with the daughters of men, producing hideous hybrid. These supernatural
offspring the Bible calls "giants." It was because of the unimaginable wickedness and sin of
these hybrid man/beast "giants" that God decided to cause a flood to overflow the earth
and destroy them all. Only Noah, whose blood and DNA were unpolluted, and his family
survived the great flood.
The myths of the pagan religions of Sumeria, Babylon, and Egypt often told of lizard-like,
reptilian ancient astronauts visiting earth, mating with women, and worshipped by ancient
mankind as powerful gods and goddesses. Now, many New Age teachers and occultists are
gladfully and expectantly proclaiming the soon return of these strange hybrid "dieties." Yet,
for whatever reason, God permitted a small number of the Nephilim to appear again years
after the Noahic flood, and in Deuteronomy these monstrous, half-human creatures are
called the Anakim, or Rephaim (literally—the "Congregation of the Dead!")
What's more, the Scriptures prophesy the return of these satanic mighty men, these evil
"giants," in the last days. Yet, not as gods, but as devils! In Matthew 24:37-39, Jesus warned
that as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be when Christ comes once again. Moreover, the
return out of the abyss of these "stars" fallen from heaven shall be accompanied by incredible,
mind-boggling signs in the heavens. As for Earth, the prophet Isaiah prophesied that mountains
shall fall down and the planet will "reel to and fro like a drunkard." from..

They go on and on claiming Sitchin 'silly' but folks this planet is real
and it's on it's way to a near Earth orbit.
One of our favorite online sources for this is the
Vulcan website. The prediction here is that
comet swarms fall towards the Sun periodically due to Planet X, named Vulcan on this site, and that
the next swarm is likely to hit us around 2006 or 2007. see

Using a date of 2012, we tracked the passing backwards and we found nothing
happened in 1588 BC. Note; The above site uses 1603 BC. But a very recently broadcast
documentary entitled,"The Exodus Decoded" prompted an answer.. The parting of the
'Reed' Sea and all of the plagues God put on Egypt has been attributed to the eruption of the Santarini
(Thera) volcano in Greece. This is dated to exactly 1540 - 1550 B.C. by this program, however
other geologists date it to 1650 B.C.
If we use our estimated date of the expulsion
of the Hyksos in 1540 - 1541 B.C. by Ahmose, the Egyptian King at the time that Moses left
Egypt, - then add the 40 years Moses was gone - we come within 3 years of the date
the Hebrews arrived in Jerusalem - including the 40 years in the desert (1456 B.C.)
We arrive at exactly the time the eruption might have taken place (around 1500 B.C.),
but there is no firm agreement on an exact time.

This was the 2nd largest eruption ever recorded of any active volcano.
Techtonic plate movement and an earthquake happened at this time creating a

The Astrology of the Ancients
Perhaps most intriguing for historians of astronomy as a science is
Hipparchus' (190BC-120BC) use of Babylonian astronomical material,
including methods as well as observations. Many questions remain
regarding the relationship between Babylonian and Greek
astronomy, but Hipparchus' work provides a clear link. Toomer has
argued that Hipparchus was responsible for the direct
transmission of both Babylonian observations and
procedures and for the successful synthesis of Babylonian and
Greek astronomy.
Hipparchus was born in Nicaea in Bithynia, but spent
much of his life in Rhodes.
He used an instrument described by Ptolemy as a dioptra
and may have invented the planispheric astrolabe. Hipparchus
made extensive observations of star positions, and is credited
by some with the production of the first known catalogue of
stars. He turned his attention to a wide variety of astronomical
questions, including the length of the year, the determination
of lunar distance and the computation of lunar and solar
eclipses. He developed theories for the Sun and Moon
demonstrating (as Ptolemy explained, Almagest, 421) 'that they
are represented by uniform circular motions'. Ptolemy noted
that as far as he knew, Hipparchus did not establish theories
for the five planets, 'not at least in his writings which have
come down to us'. But Hipparchus did compile the planetary
observations to which he had access into a more useful
arrangement, and demonstrated that the phenomena were 'not in
agreement with the hypotheses of the astronomers of that time'.
Celestial Observations
Hipparchus' discussion of the motion of the points of solstice
and equinox slowly from east to west against the background of
the fixed stars is perhaps his most famous achievement; he has
been therefore credited with the discovery of the precession
of the equinoxes. Otto Neugebauer has suggested that Hipparchus,
in fact, invented the theory of trepidation. Gerald Toomer has
credited Hipparchus with the founding of trigonometry.
Hipparchus and Trigonometry
Hipparchus was not the first person to study
the Heavens as he references the Babyloian texts as his main source.
Democritus (460 BC - 370 BC) was also the first philosopher we know who
realized that what we perceive as the
Milky Way
is the light of distant stars. Other philosophers, including
later Aristotle, argued against this. Democritus was among the first to
propose that the universe contains many worlds, some of them inhabited:
The Milky Way is simply the common name for the galaxy that encompasses our solar
system. The phrase Milky Way came from the band of white light that can be seen across the
celestial sphere visible from Earth. This celestial sphere contains a host of various stars and
other solar matter. The discovery of the Milky Way is credited to the ancient Greek philosopher
Democritus, who was the first person in recorded history to make the assumption that the
Milky Way existed and was made up of billions of distant stars. But there is
even an older source than this.

The age of our Galaxy is currently estimated to be about 13.6 billion
years which is nearly as old as the Universe itself.
Each spiral arm of our galaxy contains what is called a logarithmic spiral
(as do the arms of all spiral galaxies) with a pitch of approximately 12 degrees.
There are believed to be four major spiral arms which all start at the Galaxy's
center. These are named as follows, according to the Milky Way link above
2 and 8 - 3kpc and Perseus Arm
3 and 7 - Norma and Cygnus Arm (Along with a newly discovered extension - 6)
4 and 10 - Crux and Scutum Arm
5 and 9 - Carina and Sagittarius Arm
There are at least two smaller arms or spurs, including:
11 - Orion Arm
(which contains our solar system and the Sun - 12)
The galactic center harbours a compact object of very large mass,
strongly suspected to be a supermassive black hole; this object is associated
with the Sagittarius A radio source. Most galaxies are believed to have a
supermassive black hole at their center.
Another interesting anomaly - Jan. 2006: "This giant gas bubble contains about a
million times more mass than the Sun, and the energy powering its outflow is equal to about
100 supernova explosions," said Ohio University doctoral candidate Yurii Pidopryhora, who is
conducting work for his thesis at the National Radio Astronomy Observatory (NRAO). Pidopryhora,
Jay Lockman of NRAO, and Joseph Shields, professor of physics and astronomy at Ohio University,
presented their findings at the annual American Astronomical Society meeting today in Washington, D.C.
The superbubble is nearly 23,000 light-years from
Earth. The astronomers discovered
it by combining numerous smaller images made with the GBT into one large image. In addition,
they added images of ionized hydrogen in the region that were made by a University of
Wisconsin optical telescope on Kitt Peak in Arizona.
Our Milky Way Galaxy, about 100,000 light-years
across, somewhat resembles a giant dinner plate, with most of its stars and gas residing in a flat disk.
"Gas driven outward from the plane of the Galaxy's disk has been seen many times before, but
this superbubble is particularly large," Lockman said. "The eruption that drove this much mass
so far out of the plane has to have been unusually violent," he added.
The hypothesis that the solar system formed from the collapse
of a revolving nebula
is contradicted by the fact that three planets and several moons revolve backwards. Uranus
is rotating more or less perpendicular to the plane of the ecliptic. This may be
the result of an off-center collision between two protoplanets during formation.
Orbital motions account for 99.9% of the angular momentum of the solar system. A real
evidential problem would be presented if some of the planets orbited the sun in the
opposite direction to others, or in very different planes.
The universe is a big place and such a planet may yet be found, but more likely than not
some implausible explanation will be proposed to save the nebular hypothesis.
Moons that orbit backwards
The Sumerian tablets indicate that the Anunnaki,
the people (or gods) of very ancient Syria knew about the coming deluge that
became known as Noah's Flood. The global calamity was caused by their planet's
gravitational pull on the Earth and debris brought with it slamed into the Earth
creating global title waves. It also triggered volcanoes and earthquakes.
This took place in 10,900 BC. but biblical theorists like Ussher (previous page),
say was the beginning of our Earthly population in Adam's time as 4200 BC.
It takes Mars 687 Earth-days to fill up a calendar...
Nibiru takes 3600 ..so how many years is Nibiru as close as Mars is to Earth?
Nibiru's orbit is between Mars and Jupiter because that is where the astroid belt is
and that's where Nibiru struck Earth and sent it into a new orbit closer to the Sun.

Orbital Overview. It takes
11.87 years for Jupiter to orbit the Sun and that's equal to 4332.55 days.
So let's say we triple the orbit of Mars to 2061 days to get around one side of
the Sun. Nibiru isn't coming back for 3600 years but it would still be in it's
partial orbit around the Sun for 5.64 years. If we can see it now that puts it
close in, just outside Mars orbit in 2012.
How can this planet sustain life? Jupiter produces its own heat. This
additional heat radiation is produced by the
Kelvin-Helmholtz mechanism.
The Kelvin-Helmholtz mechanism is an astronomical event that occurs when the surface
of a star or a planet cools. As a result of this cooling, the pressure drops,
and the star or planet compresses to compensate. This compression, in turn, heats
up the core of the star/planet. This mechanism is evident on Jupiter and Saturn.
In fact it is estimated that Jupiter radiates more energy through this mechanism
than it receives from the Sun. As another symptom of this process, the planet
shrinks at the rate of a few millimeters each year. When it was younger and hotter,
Jupiter was much larger than it is today.
Gravitational effects
The Earth's axis of rotation wobbles like a top on a 23,000 year cycle.
This causes the Earth's seasons to reach their maximum at different distances
from the Sun due to the elliptical shape of the Earth's orbit.
However if the earth was not tilted on it's side completely, little effects
of the passing would have been felt. Scientific investigations may suggest
that when the Earth is in full 'tilt' there may be a major problem such as a
shifting of the Earth's crust if something that caused an intense gravitational
pull was associated with it. A shift in the crust may be the reason there is an
ancient map of Antartica seen on our Atlantis series. This map details what
once was a warm, almost tropical climate.
Obliquity, the angle between Earth's equatorial and
orbital planes or the tilt in Earth's axis, varies between 22.5 and 24
degrees during a cycle of 41,000 years. As the tilt increases, so does
the annual average sunlight reaching high latitudes, and these are the
conditions under which Huybers and Wunsch find that glaciations end.
Earth's tilt is currently 23.5 degrees and decreasing. Without the much
more rapid anthropogenic or human influences on climate, Earth would
probably be slowly moving toward glaciation. see

When the planet passes again this may be the prophesied "Return
of the Kingdom of Heaven to Earth."
It is a widely known fact among learned scholars that the
story of the Ark and the Flood is found in no less than three separate guises in the legends of
Mesopotamia and hundreds more around the world. We do not have enough space to
list them all but even the American Indians have such a legend. The most famous of
these legends comprise the legend of Ziusudra, the legend of
Utnapishtim (which is found in The Epic of Gilgamesh), and the legend of
Atra-Hasis. These three legends, despite some important
differences, all tell much the same story about a Flood-hero building a boat
and saving the seed of all living things.
A super-tide carried Noah's Ark from its nominal location near sea level to its current
location near Kazan Turkey. Naval architects doubt that the Ark could have survived a
tsunami, but it could survive a super-tide.
These excerpts conclude that volcanos also erupted violently and spewed sulphuric
gases into the atomosphere. This also indicates a crust shift some 12,000 years ago.
The unstable Antarctic ice sheet was also destabilized and ended the ice age and
water levels rose some 400 feet. There were at that time also major geological and
climatic changes. These catastrophic events have apparently been occuring as far
back in time as anyone cares to count. We do have are - the eruptions of
Vesuvius
in 5960 BC, 11,400 BC, and a Plinian eruption in 15,500 BC. and again
in 22,500 BC. World wide eruptions seem to coinside with the 11,400 BC one the most.
The huge caldaria in Yellowstone is said to be unstable and Mt. St Helens is rumbleing
again. Are they destine to be next?
The Bible Code associates the Yellowstone and Etna eruptions with major impacts, and
this association seems to have occurred during past Yellowstone eruptions. These predictions
seem reasonable because comet impacts are known to cause volcanic eruptions. The scale
of the predicted Yellowstone eruption is unknown. Nevertheless, it could also contribute
massive amounts of sulfur dioxide to our atmosphere. see

When you read the article you see that scientists do not know this planet is moving
towards us and they have not determined that the movement is in a retrograde orbit
like a comet. (or they just aren't admiting it) The planet is indeed part of our
solar system because when it passed the first time, hundreds of thousands of years
ago, it was caught in our Sun's gravatitional pull and could not escape. The Sumerian
texts say Uranus also played a role in the capture.
The Sumerian texts describe a 'battle' between a planet called
Tiamat (our Earth)
and it's eleven satellites and the larger Nibiru and it's seven satellites.
Tiamat means 'salt waters'. Although English
translations of Genesis use the expression 'deep', the origional Hebrew word
relating to 'the deep', was tehom, which has a similar root to
Tiamat . In the Eunma elish
epic, the Babyloian god Marduk is said to have fought a great battle to overcome
the primoridal salt waters of Taimat, who is protrayed
in the account as the great Dragon Queen.
This part of the story is not recounted as such in Genesis, except to say
that God 'divided the waters' (1:7), but it is repeated more fully in Psalm 74
(verses 13-14), where God 'didst divide the sea...and...breakest the heads of the
dragons in the waters'. In this account, the dragon of the
tehom is called the Leviathan (a Canaanite term), as it is also named
in the book of Job (41:1). Elsewhere in the old Testament, the formidable sea-dragon is called Rahab, as in
Psalm 89( verse 9-10): 'Thou rulest the raging of the sea...Thou has broken
Rahab into pieces'; and also in the book of Isaiah (51:9): 'Awake..O arm of the
Lord...Art thou not it that hath cut Rahab and wounded the dragon'.

More or less when God said, 'Let there be Light'
The Sumerian tablets say Tiamat was struck and split in two, not
by Nibiru, but by one of its satellites. The larger remainder of
Tiamat became our
Earth. The tablets describe a planet called Kingu which became our moon.
The other part of Tiamat, split into hundreds of pieces and became
the astroid belt and thousands of comets. You should notice that the planet map
on the right has one more planet in it than the one on the left. (Upper left corner
at the point of the star) This means that the Earth was once the size of Uranus or
Neptune. The Sumerian tablets shows that Pluto was a satellite of another
planet, probably Neptune, and was torn away to be on it's own orbit. That means
that Pluto was originaly between Saturn and Uranus. Pluto now orbits the Sun at a
higher angle than the other planets and orbits clockwise. Does this mean that something
pulled Pluto out of its origional place in it's orbit around Neptune?
Pluto's orbit is highly eccentric. At times it is closer to the Sun than Neptune (it has
been so since 1979 and did continue until 1999). Pluto rotates in the opposite direction
from most of the other planets. Pluto is locked in a 3:2 resonance with Neptune
( i.e. Pluto's orbital period is exactly 1.5 times longer than Neptune's.) Its orbital
inclination is also much higher than the other planets. Thus though it appears
that Pluto's orbit crosses Neptune's, they will never collide. Like Uranus, the plane
of Pluto's equator is at almost right angles to the plane of its orbit.

The planet in the upper left in the Sumerian picture was
Tiamat. The planet
closest to the Sun in the middle right of the Sumerian map is Venus. The larger
of the two planets in the upper right is Nibiru but is not present in the newer
map because scientists have, until now, never seen it. The smaller one is
Kingu, our moon which the tablets indicate was once on it's own separate orbit.
The 'firmanent' described in the bible is actually
the astroid belt. The word actually means, 'Hammered out Bracelet'. Then Genesis
goes on to explain that Elohim then called the Raki’a, the so- called Firmament,
Shama’ im, “the Heaven’ ‘-a name that in its first use in the Bible consists of
the two words sham and ma’im, meaning literally “where the waters were.” In the
creation tale of Genesis, “the Heaven” was a specific celestial location, where
Tiamat and her waters had been, where the asteroid belt was hammered out.
Tiamat was once a 'watery giant' according to the
texts and Mars was further from the Sun than it is now. That is why NASA
scientists conclude there was once alot of water and probably life on Mars.
What happened, according to the Mesopotamian texts, is when Nibiru/Marduk returned to
the 'Place of Crossing' -the second phase of the battle with
Tiamat: This is described
as “Day Two,” if you wish, as the biblical narrative does. So 'One Day' is actually
3600 years by Nibiru calculations. Seven passings of Nibiru would be 25,200 years.
Earth or Tiamat was the seventh planet from the beginning of our solar system.
Thus seven became a sacred number to the heavenly visitors. When Nibiru passed it
was counted as the sixth planet and this number is displayed on many Sumerian tablets
in the form of six dots or a six pointed star.
The cross is of immense antiquity, and was first celestial. The Tree of Paradise was called
the Tree of the Cross, and was placed at the Mount of the Four Corners in the Garden of Eden,
which was formed by the stars encircling the pole. Here the great Serpent, as the constellation
Draco, kept his sacred watch, "the Cross was an evolution from 'The Tree and the Serpent' and
thus became the salvation of mankind. By this it would become the very first fundamental symbol
of Creative cause, applying to geometry, to numbers, to astronomy, to measure and to animal
reproduction."

…I saw that the waters of the earth were displaced. Terrible storms affected the seas
and waves consumed great ships. It seemed as if the oceans were angry. I saw many lands
flooded by the raging waters, and the things of man were swept away, with desolation remaining
in many areas and water settling in areas where there before had been great cities.
Then I saw in the distant sky what appeared to be a red cross, and I marveled at this sight.
I was then distracted by a Hispanic woman who had been next to me. She spoke some
words in Spanish and then held tightly to the cross hanging from a chain around her neck.
I said to her; “This is the sign of the coming of the Son of Man.” She knelt where she stood
and cried to the Lord from her heart many things that I cannot repeat. I knelt with her to
comfort her. Then, I looked again into the heavens and wondered at this amazing sight, for
it was truly the sign.
Many believed that it was not the sign, and said that it was just a star or a planet, for fear
consumed them and they did not wish to believe the truth and such things as have been
spoken by the prophets or even Jesus Christ. They closed their eyes that they would not see,
and turned again to the things that would comfort them even in their wickedness. This is all

The secondary effects will be tidal waves, freak winds, the sky darkened by dust, and
heavy rain (if some of the sea was vaporized). The atmosphere may become close to
unbreathable in some cases due to dust and volcanic gases - and the weather may be
very cold for many years. Another big killer, that I have only recently become aware of,
is the sky becoming red hot due to millions of tons of material ejected by the impact
explosion falling back to earth from space.
Comets come from deep space and are frozen lumps of rock and ice - the main difference
between asteroids and comets is only that if it has a "tail" (a trail of dust and gas coming off it)
it is called a comet. They can be just as massive as asteroids and may be traveling even faster.
It is no help to be hit by a massive lump of ice. The heat of the impact is just the same as for
the same weight of iron and therefore the explosion is the same size too. The only difference
would be a lot more rain afterwards rather than a hail of molten iron and rock.
The most massive object known to have hit the Earth was the size of the planet Mars.
We know it happened because after the impact some material splashed out to form a blob
orbiting the Earth - and we now call it the Moon. This happened soon after the Earth first
formed and must have completely liquefied the Earth and made it somewhat larger. No one
would survive an impact like that; but there are reasons to think that most of these very
serious impacts happened soon after the planets first formed. The orbits of all the very large
objects orbiting the Sun seem to have been stable now for 100s of millions of years and we
can hope they will stay that way. But...........
Data regarding past impacts is available when the threatening B-swarm passed by while
Vulcan, Earth and the comet swarms were in about the same geometrical orbital configuration.
These impacts occurred while Vulcan was near aphelion as it is now. The Sun (and inner
planets) were at a maximum distance from the barycenter of the Sun/Vulcan system,
possibly exposing them to a maximum risk of impact from the B-swarm's comets.
The graphic, taken from Tollmans' work, shows what it was like then. Seven impacts were
recorded. The impacts from the B-swarm did not occur simultaneously, but rather over a
period of time varying from 7640 +/- 170 BC to 7910 +/-170 BC. The mean value is around
7810 +/- 100 BC, but the impacts could have begun 170 years before 7910 BC. Multiple
impacts are indicated to have occurred at widely different impact points. These events
caused a world-wide catastrophe.
Let us look at one aspect of the ancient tale-the ‘host” of satellites, or
“winds,” that the “celestial gods” had. We now know that Mars has two moons,
Jupiter sixteen moons and several more moonlets, Saturn twenty-one or more,
Uranus as many as fifteen, Neptune eight. Until Galileo discovered with his
telescope the four brightest and largest satellites of Jupiter in 1610, it was
unthinkable that a celestial body could have more than
one such companion-evidence Earth and its solitary Moon.
This is from the Hebrew Torah; "The earth was unformed and
desolate, and darkness covered the surface of the deep. The spirit ruah[wind]
of God hovered above the surface of the water." Again a mistranslation because spirit
actually meant 'wind'.
When the Jews were in Babylonia in the 6th century BC, they heard this Creation epic
over and over. There was an eleven day celebration festival in March or April. A poem of 920
lines was read to the people by the high priest with parts of the story re-enacted.
The Isralites deitys name was Jehovah which stemed from Elyon and El Shaddi -
but it mattered not that the Babylonians called their deity Marduk, for here was the story of
universal creation being ritualistically played out before their eyes. Thus was the
biblical Genesis born, as the onlooking Israelites priests made their notes of record.

There was, however, a distinct difference between the Babylonian epic and the
resultant Genesis account, in that the former tells not only of the god Marduk,
but of his being one of a pantheon of gods - a group of deities who (in the
parallel Canaanite tradition) were called the Elohim. From the verse quoted
above quoted above, (Job 41:1) the Enuma elish continues:
No pasture had yet been formed; no marsh had yet appeared.
None of the gods had yet been brought into being.
Not one bore a name; their destinies were undetermined.
Then it was that gods were formed in their midst.
Hence, we can see how the biblical Genesis that we know so well has been manipulated
even from the texts of the 6th-century BC Israelite exiles. For, like the Babylonians,
they too recorded ‘gods’ in the plural: the Elohim fraternity of El Elyon-a
definition that was singularized to accommodate the emergent, all-embracing concept
of Jehovah. Perhaps we should remind ourselves once again of Jehovah’s words from
Genesis:
‘Let US make man in OUR image,
after OUR likeness’(1:26); and, ‘Behold, the man is become as one of US’
(3:22).
After relating the story of disputes among the gods, and of the creation of
the firmaments of the sky and the heavens, the Enuna elish states that Marduk
established the Earth’s solar orbit and defined the duties of the moon thereby
determining the earthly year and its divisions, with the moon to make known the
nights and the months. In just the same way, Genesis states that ‘God said, let
there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night;
and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days and years’ (1:14).
At length, the Enuma elish tells that Marduk, in conversation with
another god, imparts his final plan: ‘Then will I set up lullu -man shall be
his name. Yes, I shall create lullu: man.’ Marduk, like the Egyptian kings
that followed him, took credit for any previous king or gods accomplishments.

As the story continues; were we read in the Sumerian
texts that as Nibiru/Marduk’s gravity interacted
with that of Uranus, the Invader “begot” three satellites (“winds”) and Anu/Uranus
“brought forth” four such moons. By the time Nibiru/Marduk reached Tiamat, it had
a total of seven ‘winds” with which to attack Tiamat,
and Tiamat had a “host” of eleven-among them was the “leader of the
host,” which was about to become independently orbiting planet, our eventual
Moon. Another element of the Sumerian tale, of great significance to the
ancient astronomers, was the assertion that the debris of the lower half of
Tiamat was stretched out in the space where she
had once existed.
The Mesopotamian texts, and the biblical version thereof in Genesis, are emphatic
and detailed about the formation of the asteroid belt-insisting that such a
“bracelet” of debris exists and orbits the Sun between Mars and Jupiter. But
our astronomers were not aware of that until the nineteenth century.
So even if the ancient texts had
in mind Tiamat’s, and hence Earth’s, waters,
and if this was what was meant by the “water which is below the Firmament,”
what water was there to talk about regarding that which is “above the Firmament”?
We know - don’t we? - that the asteroid belt had, indeed, as the ancient text
reported, divided the planets into two groups. A couple 'above the waters',
(Mercury and Venus) and several 'below'. (Genesis 1:7) If you were looking at
our solar system from 1,000,000 miles out in space you would see the planets
in this same described formation.
Since Nibiru comes from an orbit that is 30 degrees higher than the eliptical
orbit of our planets, they could in effect 'look down' and see this kind
of formation including the 'bracelet'.
The Sumerian texts even described Neptune as blue-green, watery, and had
patches the color of 'swamplike vegetation'. When Voyager 2 went by it in August 1989
this was confirmed. How did they know about all this..You'll have to read what
we've found later in the site or better yet get a copy of Sitchin's book
Genesis Revisited.
More and more people are becoming aware that something was left out
of our presently recognised KJ bible scriptures. People were called 'witches'
if they taught any of this by none other than our organized christian
churches. They called it 'occult' and blasphemy...but the connections we have
provided proves it isn't! What was left out was the scientific knowledge of
the ancients. Adam, Seth, Enoch and their descendents including Moses all possessed
the secrets of scientific knowledge. Churchology in the 5th century denounced
this as witchcraft.
Church leaders appointed by themselves, obviously were not pious or
trustworthy enough to be given scientific information, because according to Enoch,
One had to be 'initiated' into this knowledge. This is quoted from a Sumerian
tablet found in Nineveh in 1877. The dig continued until 1933.

gift of the knowledge of his art. I have been initiated into the secrets of
writing. I can even read the intricate tablets in Shumerian; I understand the
enigmatic words in the stone carvings from the days before the flood."

Previous digs in 1843 at the present day Mosul in Iraq
uncovered the first evidence of a king named Sargon who ruled almost 5000 years ago.
The digs at Nineveh uncovered more than 25,000 stone tablets. What surprised scholars
was the fact that the writings contained biblical history, characters and words
that are seen in Genesis. Church leaders have since ignored the evidence that these
tablets are where the Genesis writers got their information in the first place...
recopied over and over and then changed to suit what ever the belief of the time
period required.
That means Genesis was changed before it ever became the first book in the Torah.
Enoch was aware this would happen....A quote from Enoch's books;
"They will be trampled underfoot on the ground."

loving and forgiving God. He was told to teach what he had learned to his sons and no one
else. The time he spoke about (the future generation) is now.
When you read this text, please note the mention of the great star field
of Orionis (Orion).
The word Kabbalah means "that which was received". Refering to the
secret knowledge received by Enoch from the Gods. A rabbi called Samuel "knew the
paths of heaven" from snippets in the Talmud from about 300 BC. Halley's comet
was also known to return every 75 years but not officially discovered until
the 18th century and not seen until the invention of the telescope.
To make this more interesting we found a picture of
a crop circle that has the planets surrounded by the astroid belt. The site
says the circle does not show the presence of earth.
Are we destine to be destroyed again.? And come to think of it, who's making
these circles?

According to Genesis Revisited The Anunnaki
were here in Earth some 445,000 years ago. These beings, Sylvia Brown says,
look just like us. (The Anunnaki photo above)They are not
little grey men with huge black eyes. But somehow these beings were turned into
gods, by us because we couldn't grasp there being anybody else smarter than us.
What's even clearer is that we haven't been able to grasp that there were other
intelligent beings here long before we were. With this evidence, why are we are
still trying to figure out if there is intelligent life outside our solar system?
Apparently we are not, because in 1985 in a joint conference with President
Ronald Reagan and Russian president Mikhail Gorbachev, President Gorbachev made
this statement; "Just think how easy his task and mine would be in these meetings
that we held if suddenly there was a threat to this world from some other species
from another planet outside in the universe. We'd forget all the little local
differences that we have between our countries and we would find out once and
for all that we are all human beings here on this earth together".
President Reagan; "I also stressed to Mr. Gorbachev how our nation’s commitment
to the Strategic Defense Initiative-our research and development of a non-nuclear,
high-tech shield that would protect us against ballistic missiles, and how we are
committed to that. I told him that SDI was a reason to hope, not to fear."
Was this statement an irrelevant detail or a deliberate disclosure by the U.S.
President that in his private session with the Soviet leader he had brought up
the “threat to this world from some other species from another planet” as the
reason for bringing the two nations together and the cessation of Soviet
opposition to SDI? (Star Wars - Strategic Defence Initiative)
Looking back, it is clear that the “threat” and the need for a defense in space against it
preoccupied the American President. In Journey Into Space, a book by Bruce Murray,
who was Director
of the NASA/Caltech Jet Propulsion Laboratory from 1976 to 1982 (and cofounder with
Carl Sagan of The Planetary Society), recounts how at a meeting at the White House
in March 1986 with a select group of six space scientists to brief President
Reagan on the discoveries of Voyager at Uranus, the president inquired, “You gentlemen
have investigated a lot of things in space; have you found any evidence that there may
be other people out there?” When they answered negatively, he concluded the meeting
by saying he hoped they would have “more excitement as time went on.”
Were these ruminations of an aging leader, destined to be dismissed with a grin by
the youthful and “determined man” now leading the Soviet empire? Or did Reagan
convince Gorbachev, in their private five-hour meeting, that the threat of aliens
from space was no joke?
Gorbachev stated: "At our meeting in Geneva, the U.S. President said that If the earth faced
an invasion, by extraterrestials, the United States and the Soviet Union would
Join forces to repel such an Invasion. I shall not dispute the hypothesis, though
I think it’s early yet to worry about such an Intrusion."
In choosing “not to dispute this hypothesis,” the Soviet leader appeared to define
the threat in starker terms than President Reagan’s smoother talk: he spoke of
“an invasion by extraterrestrials” and disclosed that in the private conversation
at Geneva President Reagan did not merely talk philosophically about the merits of
a united Mankind but proposed that “the United States and the Soviet Union would
join forces to repel such an envasion."
What we know from the public record is that on February 16, 1987, in a major
address to an international “Survival of Humanity” forum at the Grand Kremlin
Palace in Moscow, Gorbachev recalled his discussion with President Reagan in
words almost identical to those the American President had used.

What prompted this 'turn about' in American-Soviet relations? What are
they hiding?
Let's look at an insident that occured when the Sovet/American/French backed
mission to a moon orbiting Mars called Phobos in July, 1988. The probe was
'hit' by an unidentified object sending it crashing into Mars. Pictures were
taken of a 'shadow' that appeared on Mars surface of an 'elliptical object' .
One photograph was classified as 'Super Top Secret' and never published.
What is clear is that pictures taken by the Viking 1 orbiter in 1976 remain
unexplained. Hundreds of Pictures showing artificial lines and formations are
quite visible on Mars surface. There are also 'pyramids,' and the now famous

Phobos Mission
Some scientists think Phobos is an artificial moon (man/alien made) and is hollow.
There are also indications that this 'moon' is actually a home-away-from-home
to these visiting aliens.
New interesting photo surfaces on Chinese website purporting to show a small
anomaly appearing to be like a bi-pedal humanoid figure on the surface of Mars taken
by one of the NASA rovers. Is is a hoax or another "trick of the light" like the giant
face on Mars was?
Its bulbous “head” is cocked to one side, as if in concentration, while its right “arm”
appears to be reaching out for balance. Is there another figure in the lower right part of the photograph?

Hoagland references the Masons and the Nazis who have ancient knowledge

and the location of legendary Shambala. They expected to obtain some secret
super knowledge to seize the domination over the world. Secret expeditions
were sent to Tibet and the Himalayas. The number of such expeditions
considerably increased when Nazis came to power in 1933.
The secret projects were especially active within 1935-1939, and probably
expeditions were even sent after the war campaign in Europe started. But all the
documents pertaining to the projects were destroyed before Nazi Germany
capitulated or probably are still being kept in undisclosed hiding-places. see

Scientists believe that if Mars DID once have surface water, it had the potential to support life.
And some say this could be the crucial evidence of inhabitants that they were seeking
when they launched their £400million mission in 2003.
The “creature” was spotted when space enthusiasts analysed photos beamed
100 million miles to Earth by Spirit and its twin explorer Opportunity.
Of course, hard-nosed realists may claim the “Martian” is simply a trick of the light
and shadow on a dust-covered outcrop.
But whatever it shows, the mind-boggling image will set people guessing from Ibiza
to the Norfolk Broads.
It’s a genuine space oddity.
From Enki's Lost Books - Zacharia Sitchin, we have this; "King Anu sent his daughter
Ninmah with female health officers to Earth. "Stop," said the King, "on the way, at Mars.
If Anzu lives, give him men to start a base there."
In late 1877, Mars was very close to Earth though not as close as it was in
August, 2003. Italian astronomer Giovanni Schiaparelli took advantage of the relative
proximity and set about to map the planet, peering at it through an 8.75-inch (0.2-meters)
telescope that was a big improvement over what other famous astronomers had available
before him.
The colorblind Schiaparelli was said to have sharp eyesight. What he saw was
a network of dark, narrow lines that dominated earthlings' view of Mars for many
decades to come.
He labeled the crisscrossing lines "canali" -- Italian for "channels." The
term was translated into English as "canals." And you know what happened next.
Perhaps no misconception in the history of science fueled more genuine
research and simultaneous abject fear. The myth persisted into and beyond 1938,
when a nation became terrorized by the apparent landing of Martians, as "reported"
by Orson Welles in his War of the Worlds radio broadcast.
At the time, many scientists were in fact looking in earnest for other signs
of intelligent creatures on Mars, whom they expected would be busily constructing
more irrigation ditches to quench the thirst of their dying masses. Take a look at
the map Schiaparelli created. There are too many straight lines to call this natural
formations.

In Exodus 19:11, "the children of Israel-all 600,000 of them-witnesses the Lord
descending upon Mount Sinai. The bible stresses that it was done "in full sight of the people".
Yahweh landed on mount Sinai in an object that the bible calls Kabod that had
the appearance of a "devouring fire" (Exodus 24:11; The prophet Ezekiel described
the Kabod (usually translated "glory" but which literally means "the heavy thing") as a
luminous and radiating vehicle equipped with wheels within wheels. Ninurta possessed the
Imdugud, the Divine Black Bird"; and Marduk had a special housing built in his
sacred precinct in Babylon for his 'Surpreme Traveler'; it was probably the same vehicle
that the Egyptians called the Celestial Boat of Ra.

Jordan River to be 'taken up' heavenward, in a fiery chariot. Kings 2:2. A fiery chariot

the artifacts were depicting animals and were classified as Sinu, a pre-Inca culture
from A.D. 500 to 800... But only for them. For aeronautical engineers these
objects more looked like airplanes with delta-shaped wings. So in 1997 they
built a scaled up version of the objects to the exact specifications of the
prototypes with the simple addition of an engine and propeller. The test
was succesful. The radio controlled aircraft flew performing airborn loops,
rolls and other manuevers, and then performed perfect landing.
Similar model airplanes have been
found in Egypt. One looked like a helicopter. Scientists made models of the planes
and they actually flew. In 1898, a peculiar six-inch wooden object was found in a tomb
at Saqquara, Egypt that dated back to about 200 BCE. The object had a body or fuselage,
seven-inch wings that curved downward slightly, a fixed rudder and a tail. It looked
very much like a modern airplane or glider. But since airplanes had not yet been
invented in 1898 (never mind ancient Egypt), it was labeled as a model of bird and
stored away in the basement of the Cairo museum. see

The object was rediscovered many years later by Dr. Khalil Messiha, an authority on
ancient models. According to Messiha and others who have studied the object, it
has characteristics of very advanced aerodynamics, much like modern pusher-gliders
that require very little power to stay aloft. The curved wings are today known as
reversedihedral wings, which can attain great amounts of lift. A similar design is
employed on the supersonic Concorde aircraft. see

In the Sanskrit Samarangana Sutradhara,
it is written:
"Strong and durable must the body of the Vimana be made, like a great flying
bird of light material. Inside one must put the mercury engine with its iron heating
apparatus underneath. By means of the power latent in the mecrcury which sets
the driving whirlwind in motion, a man sitting inside may travel a great distance
in the sky. The movements of the Vimana are such that it can vertically ascend,
vertically descend, move slanting forwards and backwards. With the help of the
machines human beings can fly in the air and heavenly beings can come down to earth."
The Hakatha (Laws of the Babylonians) states quite unambiguously:
"The privilege of operating a flying machine is great. The knowledge of flight is among
the most ancient of our inheritances. A gift from 'those from upon high'. We received
it from them as a means of saving many lives."
In the proof for a lost technological society. Among other points,
Hoagland et al. discuss the recent findings of German scientists
Dr. Algund Eeboom and Mr. Peter Belting. Several small gold
trinkets have been recovered from tombs of the Incas, dating
back thousands of years. These trinkets clearly depict structures
that undeniably appear to be workable flying airplanes, complete
with what appear to be gun turrets on some of the wings;
More fantastic still is the information given in the ancient Chaldean work,
The Sifrala, which contains over one hundred pages of technical details on building
a flying machine. It contains words which translate as graphite rod, copper coils,
crystal indicator, vibrating spheres, stable angles, etc. see

this could be impact ejecta from an impact large enough to blast debris right out of the
atmosphere, which then rains back down again.
8:8 "something like a huge mountain, all ablaze, was thrown into the sea" - an asteroid,
several miles across, impacts into an ocean.
8:10 "a great star, blazing like a torch, fell from the sky" - an asteroid or comet discovered
by the Wormwood project perhaps.
"The third angel sounded his trumpet, and a great star, blazing like a torch, fell from the sky on a
third of the rivers and on the springs of water- the name of the star is Wormwood."

"For example the Pyramid Texts tell us in no uncertain terms that the
pharaohs wanted to become stars - not just any old stars but stars of the
"Orion Constellation". For example Pyramid Text 882:
"O king, you are this great star, the companion of Orion...". These discoveries,
backed up by other researches concerning the Pyramid Texts and the known
mythology and religious rituals of ancient Egypt became the basis of The Orion
Mystery. In the United States the name of the book is 'The Message of the Sphinx'.
This book, published in February 1994 to coincide with the first broadcast of the
BBC documentary we (Robert Bauval) made, The Great Pyramid: gateway to the stars,
became an immediate bestseller. Since then it has been translated into at least
a dozen languages.
The Orion Mystery remains controversial. The vast majority of its
unbiased readers appreciate the originality of the ideas and discoveries it
contains. However, some Egyptologists, usually those whose special
interest isn't pyramids, have been less than enthusiastic. Indeed it would
seem that some regard it as an almost personal insult that two "amateurs"
should have written a best-selling book about ancient Egypt. In their
defence it has to be said that much nonsense has, over the years, been
written about the pyramids. This has muddied the water, so to speak,
and their knee-jerk reaction was only to be expected. Often the most
skeptical are those least in the know. On the whole real experts on pyramids
have been more supportive of the Orion correlation theory.
In the book Graham Hancock and Robert Bauval
show us how the pyramids were aligned to match the three main stars of the Orion
constallation in the year 10,430 BC. The Sphinx faces the constallation in the age
of Leo - the lion represented in astrology. Some even agree that the head of the
sphinx was origionally a lion because the head we see now is too small for
the body of the lion.
Egyptologists who work closely with Dr. Hawass in Egypt have been
denighed access and even ordered to leave if they relate that they concur with
this theory. Anwar Sadat, the late former president of Egypt was murdered
because he agreed with it. We know why.
For example the
late Professor I.E.S. Edwards, the former keeper of Egyptian antiquities at
The British Museum and the author of The Pyramids of Egypt, for some fifteen
years gave encouragement to Robert Bauval in his researches. Though by no
means endorsing everything written in our book, he wrote to Robert Bauval
on 16 October 1984: "...I am very much in agreement with your contention
that the stars in Orion's Belt were an important element in the orientation of
the Great Pyramid. I think you have made out a very convincing case that
the other two pyramids at Giza were also influenced by it". (see "The Orion
Mystery p.133).
Professor Edwards was not alone in giving support to the
correlation theory. Dr. Jaromir Malek, Director of the Griffith Institute at
the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford, wrote in January 1995: "I wholeheartedly
agree with you [Robert Bauval] that astronomical observations and mathematical
calculations played an important part in the design, construction and perhaps
even siting of Egyptian pyramids....I would be prepared to consider seriously
the observation that the Giza pyramids were positioned or sited in a manner
to represent the three stars of Orion. (Ibid. p.134).see the
