From The West

On the Level

Greetings, brethren!

We are nearing the end of our Masonic Year and it seems that it had only started. Looking back we have been privilege to have the leadership of Wor. Tom. We have said goodbye to many Brothers over the last year and welcomed new Brothers to the Fraternity. I cannot express the pride I felt to be able to raise my son Justin to the Sublime Degree and I am forever grateful to the Lodge for that opportunity. We had another productive day with the Open House and Electronic Recycling on April 6th. A job well done by the Brothers who were able to give some of their time that day.

Looking ahead to things to come we start right off on Saturday May 4th with a guided tour of Grand Lodge then a walk to the Granary Burial Ground starting at 9:30 AM in the Lobby of Grand Lodge. This outing will apply to the Master Builder’s Award and you are encouraged to attend along with your significant other. On May 18th Franklin Lodge is going home. We will be taking part in Grafton’s History Day to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Towne House. We will be setting up the Lodge Room in its original location as well as having an information booth on the Common. Volunteers will be needed for the day. Later that evening there will be a Period Costume Ball at Pleasant Valley Country Club. Tickets are $50 each and can be purchased through the Grafton Historical Society.

In closing, if you have the good fortune to visit or run into Wor. Allen H. Ojerholm 1972 congratulate him on earning his 50 Year Veteran’s Medal. It is certainly an honor to receive this award.

Fraternally,

Brother Stephen Qualey
