Making Good Men Better
November 2010
;
To my Brother Masons of New York . . .
As we look forward to Thanksgiving Day on November 25th this year, we are reminded that this celebration was originally conceived as a harvest festival. Thanksgiving is a holiday to express thankfulness, gratitude, and appreciation to God, family and friends for all the blessings we have received . . . not only the material things we possess, but the liberty and freedoms we enjoy as well as our personal relationships.
We have a lot for which to be grateful and we should all thank the Great Architect for his abundant blessings.
On behalf of Ginny and our family, and on behalf of Gail and R∴W∴ Jim Sullivan, our Deputy Grand Master,
and our entire elected and appointed Grand Line, we wish for you and those you love a most enjoyable
Thanksgiving. It is our fervent hope that you enjoy all of God's blessing now and into the
future. And we ask that when you sit down with your family this Thanksgiving that you add
a prayer for the men and women in our armed forces who are unable to be with their families on
this day. God Bless them and bring them home to their loved ones safely.
May God continue to Bless you and yours . . . our extended Masonic family . . . and the
United States of America.
With all good wishes,
Fraternally,
M∴W∴ VINCENT LIBONE, GRAND MASTER
