Morocco Shriner Center and the Fernandina Shrine Club will be on parade in Fernandina Beach on March 20, 2005, at 11:00 AM. The parade begins at the waterfront and will proceed east on Centre St. The Shriner parade will include all of your favorites including: Clowns, Go-Carts, Motorcycles, Bands, and your favorite cartoon characters.
The Fernandina Beach Shrine Club will be offering their 49th Annual Barbeque dinner from 11am - 5pm. Pork & Beef barbeque, with Cole Slaw, and Baked Beans will be served. Cost will be $8.00, at the Atlantic Elementary School on Atlantic Ave. in Fernandina Beach. We will also be serving take-out dinners on Friday, March 19, 2004 by calling 261-3917 between 11:00am - 2:00pm.
All proceeds from the dinners go to support the Shriners Hospitals for Children. Children under 18 years of age with orthopaedic problems or burn injuries receive specialized medical care at NO COST at Shriners Hospitals and Shriners Burn Institutes.
