Edward Dugger No. 123 and Ruth Chapter No. 104 Annual Barbeque Rib and Chicken sale was held on Saturday, April 17 from 1:00 to 7:00 PM at American Legion Post 776. The weather was a wonderful 77 degrees F. Teamwork was the order of the day, Master Chefs Past Master Bro. Jay Johnson, and Mr. George Williams were truly in their element as they prepared and cook 137 slabs of ribs, and 72 whole chickens.
We'd like to thank Bro Melvin Buckman and PM Jimmy Johnson for spearheading the event, as well as those brothers and sisters who helped with the preparation and cooking for this feast. We especially want to thank those wonderful patrons who supported the cause by placing their advance orders. With the beautiful weather, and your support, Saturday's barbeque was a smashing success.
