February & March 2012

Greetings Brethren:

My name is Eddy Glascoe. I was installed as Master of Duvall Lodge # 6 F&AM along with my new officers on December 27, 2011 for the upcoming year of 2012. The New Officers and I opened lodge of the first meeting of the New Year on January 3, 2012. We have begun our journey to enter into our commitments for 2012.

The months are flying by so quickly. This being said, we are striving to meet both goals and accomplishments we set. I give honor to Freemasonry this following year by committing to my goals: Masons helping Masons, to broadening and strengthening Duvall Lodge # 6 by participation and visibility in the community through our leadership.

We are starting to receive petitions, so we will be doing degree work in the upcoming months. We are visiting other lodges.
 

February events will include: Valentine Lunch/Dinner (Take your wife or sweetheart out) at B.J.’s Restaurant on February 12, beginning at approximately 1:00 p.m. Hope to see you members there.

On February 21, 2012, Official Visit by the District Deputy Grand Master: make plans to attend.

On February 25, 2012, we will observe our annual George Washington’s Banquet at Duvall Lodge in Bardstown. Guest speaker: (to be announced). Please make plans to attend. Cost approximately $ 7.50. If any profit is made from this function, it will go to charitable endeavors.
