Stated Communication
- Tuesday, November 9
From The East:
Brethren:
October was a sad time for our lodge. We lost two Brothers within four days.
Worshipful Brother Frank Copeland and Brother William Lee
Wallace.
Please keep the family of these Brothers in your
prayers. They will be
missed.
The November Stated means election of the 2011
Officers. This is very very
important, so please plan to attend.
This year has been special to me, so come and hear my
closing statements.
Thanks for a great year!
Remember the sick and distressed in your prayers.
News about the Proposed Roadway:
An offer of purchase from the State Department of
Transportation was
received on October 14th.
Surprisingly, the offer did not include all of our land, so
we are looking into
the possibility of building on the remainder.
Also, we have had a preliminary meeting with an attorney (at
no cost) to help us
evaluate the offer.
We have also pursuing the use of another Lodge's Facility
for sometime in 2011,
should it become
necessary.
Please come to the Stated to get the latest updates and
discuss this project.
We will also post on the Website:
www.mastermason.com/deritalodge.
Peace be with you,
Charlie
From The West:
Brethren:
2010 has proven to be an exciting year. We have had two successful fundraisers,
made multiple improvements to the Lodge facility and, due to
the efforts of our
Master, were able to
reduce operating expenses.
It has been a pleasure and a high privilege to serve as your
Senior Warden
and Assistant Secretary this year, and I would like to thank
everyone for
their help and encouragement. The year went by so FAST!
Brethren, believe it or not, payments for 2011 dues are
beginning to roll in.
Please remember that we have REDUCED the dues from $85.00
this year
to $75.00 for 2011.
Fraternally,
Steve
From The South:
Brethren,
I am happy to
announce that our fish fry was a success again. To date we have
about $1600.00 in
profit and still growing. If you have any tickets to turn in please
do so as soon as
possible so we can close it down. I
would like to thank many for
their hard work.
There are too many to thank and I feel compelled to do this in person.
A very heart felt
THANK YOU goes to our Eastern Stars.
Our fund raisers would not be
as successful as
they are without you. It is comforting for us to know that when someone
comes in to eat ,
they are greeted by these beautiful women with open arms and hearts.
You all are truly special and very much appreciated. You are
loved by all.
More details in next month's Tresselboard.
Fraternally,
Tom
