Cornerstone Chat

What is it?  Cornerstone Chat is an email forum comprised of members of Cornerstone Lodge #99.   Cornerstone Chat is intended to be used to disseminate information and to discuss Masonic issues and events relevant to our Lodge members.

How does it work?  Members who wish to post a message should click on the "Reply All" button when viewing either the previous message or the Service Message that will be sent out periodically.  This will cause the New Message window to come up, already addressed to the membership.  There is no need to add everyone's address to your address book.

Hint: create a special folder for the Service Message.in your mail program.

What are the guidelines?
1) Only Masonic topics, please.  No solicitations, disparaging remarks, or forwarded jokes.  Remember your obligations.
2) Use the initials "CC" in the start of the subject line, as in "CC- National Treasure movie."  This way recipients can easily recognize these messages and messages can be sorted by subject.
3) When posting a message, delete the unnecessary stuff that appears in the body of the letter - like the addressees of the previous posting.
4) If you use a spam filter, make sure that all members' mail gets through.
5) Do not send attachments (like pictures) with file sizes larger than 80 kb.

Those who repeatedly ignore the guidelines will be dropped from the list.

How do I join or quit?  Send a message to nkolstad@prtel.com asking to join or quit.
