Necrology

In the Masonic funeral ceremony, we are taught that, "Change and decay are written upon every living thing.  The cradle and the coffin stand side by side and it is a melancholy truth that as soon as we begin to live that moment also we begin to die...The messenger of death comes when least expected, and at a moment which to us seems the meridian of our existence."
Charleston Lodge #35 values the memory of our departed brothers.  They are missed.  A closeness among the members of Masonry is a well known characteristic of the fraternity.  Death may take a brother from us but his memory will live on whenever members of the lodge join in fellowship.  In memory of all our brothers who have gone to the Supreme Architect of the Universe we offer this Necrology.  All of you are missed!
