Having Had the priveledge of serving in the army, attached to the Austrialian First Army and working out of Port Darwin 1944-46 I spent a few weeks in Brisbane which I enjoyed very much. I have been back to Australia twice not with my wife and I would very much like to return once more while I can still travel. Should this happy day occur, be assured I will give a priority to visiting a Brisbane District Chapter. Your web page is extremely well done. Congratulations.
I wish you all the best in your fraternal endeavors. I hope someday that my wife and i might visit your wonderful contry and attend some chapter meetings while we are there. I am a member of Alliance Chapter #296 in Alliance, Ohio where i have had the priviledge of serving as Worthy Patron five times, and my wife has served as Worthy Matron three times. All my best to you.

Marcia, Apologies from WDG Matron and Patron of FNDG Chapter for non attendance at your Installation on 5 March. Hope you have an enjoyable day. Would you kindly wish the incoming WDG Matron and Patron and Office bearers all the best for a great year. Do you need a hard copy to confirm this? If so let me know. Regards Bob.

We visited Mareeba Chapter in March of 2002. Our hosts were Gladdie and Graham Stevens of Cairns. We have lovely memories of our visit. Our home Chapter is Evangeline # 15, Jurisdiction of Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island, Canada

I am the Grand Representative to the United Grand Chapter of Australia in Ontario and we are planning to visit next June in Canberra. Would like to connect with some sisters and brothers who will be there. We have family in Sydney & Brisbane and look forward to returning to your wonderfull country. We are two couples who will be travelling. Can you give me more info on which hotel would be nearest the Convention Centre that the sessions will be in or anyone who is planning in being at our Grand Chapter Sessions in Toronto this Aug 26-28th. Jope to hear from someone! Star Greetings Al Ferguson
I bring greeting to all of the OES members in Australia from Nashville, Tennessee "Music City U.S.A." My husband and I are members of Rock City Chapter No. 2 in Nashville. I am a past grand officer and served as Grand Martha in 1991 and served a 3-year term as District Instructor. I have been a member for 39 years and have many wonderful experiences. I also served 13 years as Mother Advisor for our Rainbow Assembly. In Tennessee, the Worthy Grand Matron appoints a total of 10 officers for her year and selects 1 from her chapter and the Worthy Grand Patron selects 1 from his chapter. Offices appointed are Chaplain thru Sentinel. All other offices are elected by the state membership. We only have women Grand Representatives but men and women can be appointed as Grand Instructors. It is very interesting to learn how other Grand Jurisdictions are governed. If anyone comes to Nashville, we will be very happy to give you a tour. Fraternal love
It is very interesting visiting the various OES websites throughout the world. Having common interests and goals makes this organization so valuable to many people. My God continue to bless such organizations.

We'll be attending Ashgrove's meeting July 16th 2004, and are excited about our visit. Fraternal greetings!

I'm a journalist interested in the history of Freemasons and the Order of the Eastern Star and to why, in the past there has been so much secrecy about the actions you've done to benefit the community. In my region I come across these organisations often and they rarely want their names or group mentioned. If you could fill me in on a few things it would be greatly appreciated.
I AM LOOKING FOR A CHAPTER IN NEW SOUTH WALES, MAYBE NEAR SINGLETON?
Enjoy looking at the different OES Sites. I belong to the Edmonton Chapter Number 19. Joined in 2000. Fern

Just made a comment it is called the Eastern Star in America not the N/Star sorry about that.
Just browsing, Iam a member of the V/wives in America, one of the ladies is a memeber of N/Star? group. My father was a freemason George Robert Currey. My bro-in-law made the chair his name Gregory Raymond Jensen, and nephew Leo George Jenson is also a Mason. Good sight. Just looking for something to do outside the home.
Have just found your website (7 November) and spent quite some time "surfing" Let us hope that through this media, we might attract much interest in our beloved Order. Had an e-mail from Arkansas and my friend whom I met in Tasmania in 1989 has been WM with her husband (for a second time) and had 16 candidates and 5 affiliates - I have asked for their SECRET! I am about to vacate WM for the 3rd time and hope my Chapter can continue for many years. Congrats on your entry and I shall keep surfing - Star Love LOIS
I enjoyed seeing at the photos taken whilst you were all in Tasmania. Disappointed that you did not take one of the All States Choir. Maybe someone will take a photo of them in Melbourne in 2003.

I am currently the Grand Representative of Australia in New Hampshire. I enjoyed my stay in Australia in June. Sims, PM of Ruth Chapter #16 in Manchester, New Hampshire, Associate Grand Conductress of New Hampshire and one who served as Grand Representative of Australia in New Hampshire; and Dorothy Lempenau, a member of Ruth Chapter #16 in Manchester, New Hampshire) visted your General Grand Chapter in Hobart meeting many of your members and members from the USA. I also enjoy writing to Mary Newman who is the Grand Representative of New Hampshire in Australia and look forward to learning more about Country and your OES ways.
Find your web site most impressive especially photos which I see suitably impressed others. Hope to see you at my Grand Installation in Grand Hall on 13th October. Incidently am current member and PWP (twice) of Murwillumbah Chapter no. 109. Wishing all the best. Don.

Great photos! Really impressive for overseas viewers. You are very clever.
Well done Just love the news page, and the photos are just wonderful. This page is certainly a credit to all involved. See you all around the traps Coralyn
Bob, am now connected and this is the first time I have been able to view our changes. Looks great! Regards, Marcia.
I am a grand-daughter of Eric Deecke, a Freemason who passed away on 25th August, 2001. At Pa's funeral, I learned a great deal of the charitable acts performed by members of Freemasory and its associated societies. Fellow freemasons testified to my Grandfathers generosity and charity toward others. I was always aware that Pa was actively involved with his Lodge, but I had never given much thought to it. Now that my Pa has gone, I am hoping to carry on his fine example by hopefully joining the Order of the Eastern Star one day. I would like to encourage all Grandchildren of Masons to look at the traditions and ask themselves " How can I live up to this example?"
Oops! I hit the wrong key. I think your web site is great. I am a member of Samuel Fear Chapter#417 in Honey Brook,PA. I am a Past Matron and am currently the Associate Matron. With any luck at all, I will someday visit your lovely country; and your Chapter. Fraternally, Cheryl
