CLAY GROUND
Hiram Abif cast all the sacred vessels of the Temple, including the pillars of the porch.
He built his foundry between Succoth ( Suc'-coth ) and Zeredatha ( Ze-red-a-tha ) 35 miles north-east of Jerusalem.
The clay in that area was particularly fit for making molds. This area was known as the "Clay Ground".
