Hello everyone and Happy 4th of July!
RECENT EVENTS . . . . .
Last week a few of the girls got together and began to put the banner for Session together. They had a good time - and got some work done too!
ON TAP FOR THIS WEEK . . . .
The only activity this week is another Banner-making party. It will take place on Sunday, July 7 from 6-9 p.m. at my new house in Centreville. If you need directions, please give me a call on my cell phone and I'll be glad to give you directions. Please, please, please be on time - - you will need those three hours to finish the banner. Once again, Dad James and I will provide pizza and sodas for all who come to work. Moms and Dads - - you are welcome to come help, or to just hang out!
COMING SOON . . .
Session is quickly approaching - - It is July 11-14.
SESSION . . . .
Here are the plans for Session - - we will be taking a bus with Bethel 52 again this year. The bus will pick us up at our Temple at 5 a.m. You are to be at the Temple at 4:30.
Since we are taking a bus with another Bethel, there is limited space. Please do not pack for an army! You are to limit your packing to one bag (which will go under the bus), one hanging bag, and one bookbag, which you may carry on the bus.
Below is a suggested packlist:
- Robe and full regalia (for those that were asked to participate in something)
- Dresses for the following:
- Opening
- Grand Bethel meeting
- Grand Bethel installation
- Grand Guardian Council installation
Please remember the finger tip rule as you pick out your clothes.
- Shorts/tops (NO halter tops . . please make sure that your shorts are the appropriate length.)
- Shoes (Flip flops are not considered appropriate shoes for the meetings. Please bring the appropriate shoes with you.)
- Toiletries
- Pillow/Blanket
- Umbrella/Rain coat
- Fan (get with your roommate - - you are allowed one large fan in a room . . . as we are sharing a bus with another Bethel, please make sure that your fan is clearly labelled with your name and Bethel number.)
- Snacks - - make sure they are individually wrapped
- Drinks (or bring plenty of money for sodas.)
If you have any board games - you are welcome to bring one or two of them for everyone to play.
As always, if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!
