RECENT EVENTS......
The ladies attended the HQMCWA Ball last Saturday evening - and from what I
understand, had a really good time. They were a little cramped in a small
building, but they made the most of it and had a good time.
ON TAP FOR THIS WEEK......
This Saturday, April 20, the Bethel will have a car wash at the Citgo gas
station, by the DMV, on Franconia Road in Springfield. They will be washing
cars from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. We need: chaperones, buckets, sponges, soap
and towels. Please let me know if you can donate any of these.
Saturday, April 20 from 7 until 11 p.m. is the Maryland Sweetheart Ball. We
will be meeting at the Temple at 5 p.m. - it takes a while to get up to
Baltimore. Dress is formal/semi-formal. The cost to get into the dance is
$5.00. We desperately need chaperones - - the girls CANNOT go if there are
no chaperones.
We will have a meeting on April 21 at 6 p.m. Ladies -- many of you are
not coming to the meetings properly attired. You are to wear a skirt, dress
or dress pants. Jeans, khakis and casual pants are not permitted. Please
dress accordingly. Remember, there is always an opportunity for guests to
come to our meetings and you should look your best!

SUNSHINE.....
I received an email from a woman named Mrs. DeMarco. Her daughter is a PHQ
of Bethel 54, Annandale, which closed a few years back. Mrs. DeMarco had a
few items in her closet, such as robes. She emailed me and asked if we
would have an interest in these robes. Dad James and I picked them up
yesterday evening. A thank you card will be sent to her on behalf of the
Bethel.
