GRAND OLD BELLE POINT One hundred years, all of them gone, But each one blazed a trail; To lead men on and on and on, To that goal the Holy Grail. There have been bumps along the road, Some of them deep and rough; But good men have shouldered the load and smiled when the going was tough. Yes, rich men, poor men, side by side, With a hand clasp and friendly smile; Have passed the word that would guide, Those who would follow after while. The markers they set, were plain and true, All planted in brotherly love; Ready to bring needed help to you, With praise to our God above. So Belle Point has reached the Golden Years, A century of time has passed; Filled with sunshine, love and tears, Leaving a corner stone, strong to last. One hundred years, through wars and fire, Its banner has been held high; Teaching the things that did inspire, Men to do good, before they die. None now alive can tell of that day, When Belle Point made its start, To help guide men along life's way, With brotherly love in their heart. Like all other of life's good things, It has survived the storms and strife; Teaching men to have a heart that sings And the better way of life. Faith and hope, in this war torn world, Are things which we mostly need; Let's keep this banner clean, unfurled, Fighting wrongs, deceit and greed. So, all hail to Belle Point Lodge, May its banner always be bright; Because no MASON will ever dodge, Doing things he knows to be right Composed by: Augustus M. Forby, P.M. (1918-19) W.
