James Lawrence

James Lawrence was the U.S. Naval Captain, immortalized for his dying words, "Don't Give Up The Ship I " in the War of 1812. June 1, 1813. He died on June 1, 1813. Internment at Trinity Churchyard, Manhattan, New York. He was killed in Action in the War of 1812. Lodge: not known, but he visited (old) Burlington 32 in Feb.-Mar.-Apr.
