James Lawrence was the U.S. Naval Captain, immortalized for his dying words, "Don't Give Up The Ship I " in the War of 1812. June 1, 1813. He died on June 1, 1813. Internment at Trinity Churchyard, Manhattan, New York. He was killed in Action in the War of 1812.
