Hey everyone:

I wish to extend my thanks to everyone who has supported the fish stand this year by donating their time.  Brother Donnie Brown, thank you for the great meals you prepare the second Tuesday of every month.  Brothers Wally Bruce and Harold Noe, you guys whip up the best breakfast a man could ask for, thanks for being with us every Friday!  Brothers Joe Marshall, Stan Robinson and Wayne Carby thanks for your help with the onions on Wednesday’s. Brothers Burnis Pitts, Carl Cox, Rusty Portman and Mike Shuffit thank you for getting the fish thawed on Thursdays. My thanks to the Friday morning crew, too many of you to name, for getting the fish sliced and ready to sell on Saturday and the onion crew for getting the onions ready to sell on Saturday.  This big group of guys is responsible for the success of our fish fry.  Thanks to Glen Wells for keeping us stocked up on supplies for our customers.

Welcome Brothers Ben Pifer and Keith Gallai our two newest members of Suburban Social Club. Brother Ben and Keith joined the club at the July 8, 2008, meeting.

I know summer is a busy time for everyone, but please keep in mind that we still need help at the fish stand on Saturdays.  The hours between 2:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. we are sparse on help.  If you have not worked the fish stand for a while please come out and lend us a hand. My thanks to everyone who has helped out this year.
