MWGM. William P. Mayberry Attends Inspection at Mercer Lodge

  • On January 4, 2003, the Grand Master of Masons in Ohio attended the Annual Inspection of Mercer Lodge No. 121 at St. Marys, OH. where, according to the Inspecting Officer (RWB. Adrian G. Werst, Jr.) he witnessed a most impressive conferring of the Fellow Craft Degree.  The Grand Master was accompanied at the event by his Jr. Grand Deacon, RWB. Terry W. Posey.

  • Mercer Lodge enjoyed a fantastic turn-out for the Inspection, at which 65 Masons were present.  Other noteworthy in attendance were:

    • REC. Steven Oliver, Grand Master of the 1st Veil,
      Ohio Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons.

    • 34 Visitors from within the 10th Masonic District.

    • 12 Visitors from outside of the District, Including District Deputies from the 2nd, 3rd & 9th Masonic Districts.

Mercer Lodge Bestows Honorary Membership

MWGM. William P. Mayberry Conferred as an Honorary Member.

  • After the Inspection, WM. Keith J. Manbeck presented a Certificate of Honorary Membership of Mercer Lodge No. 121 to MWGM. William P. Mayberry.  This is indeed a momentous occasion, as this was only the fifth time in which Honorary Membership has ever been bestowed by Mercer Lodge.  Afterwards, our Most Worshipful Grand Master expressed heartfelt appreciation of the honor and reinforced his close personal connection with Mercer Lodge.

Friendship Night and MM Degree Practice changed on Schedule.

  • 1st Section of the MM Degree Practice is changed to: Feb. 5th.

  • Friendship Night is changed to: March 5th.

Travel Plans

Mercer Lodge will travel to visit Lodge Inspections.

  • Members of Mercer Lodge are strongly encouraged to visit our brother Lodges at any time, but most especially for their inspections.  We will car pool together from the Mercer Lodge parking lot on the dates & times indicated below.  Meeting times for other visitations will be posted in the future as determined.

    • Jan. 22, 6:00 p.m. -- to Greenville Lodge Inspection (2nd District).
    • Jan. 24, 6:30 p.m. -- to 10th District Assoc. Meeting at Hamer Lodge No. 167.
    • Jan. 25, 7:30 a.m. -- to Sager Lodge No. 513 Inspection.
    • Feb. 1, 6:00 p.m. -- to Findlay Lodge No. 227 Inspection.
