Many brethren have asked us over the years "How can you afford to offer so much space for free?"We were once able to do this through the generosity of Brother Keith Lipman of Wayfarer's Lodge No. 1001, Evanston Illinois. Brother Keith owned an ISP in Chicago and allowed us to co-locate the Mastermason.com Server for no charge.
A few years ago Brother Lipman decided to retire from the ISP business. Other ISP's could not offer us the services we had with Cyberconnect of Chicago for a price we could afford. Our only option was to enter the Web Hosting business ourselves and hope we could build the business to the point where we could break even on our operating costs.
At this time we are operating the server at a loss. Our business is growing slowly, but it will be some time before we reach the break even point. The reasons we keep operating at a loss is because of our loyalty and feeling of responsibility towards our users.
