DIRECTIONS TO OTHER CRAFT LODGES

Albric Festival Lodge meets at the Red House, Albrighton (N.B. the Albrighton near to Wolverhampton). (01902) 373605. Leave the M54 at Junction 3 and head towards Albrighton on the A41. After 1-and-a-half miles pass the Cosford Aerodrome (traffic lights) and shortly afterwards turn right (signed Albrighton 1/2). Drive through the town until you come to the "Crown"  on your left; immediately beyond this is a gate into a car park. To reach the Red House from here, walk back past the "Crown"; the Red House is across the side road, next to the town clock.

Brownlow Lodge meets at the Town Hall, Ellesmere. (01691) 622188. Take the A528 into Ellesmere, then head for the Town Centre. For other than local visitors, Ellesmere is best approached via the A5, turning east near Oswestry via Whittington (about 6 miles).

Cleobury Lodge meets at the Coach House, Mawley Hall, Cleobury Mortimer. Turn south into the grounds of Mawley Hall from the A4117 one mile east of Cleobury Mortimer (just east of where the B4201 meets the road). Those coming from the Bridgnorth direction turn left onto the B4201 one mile short of Cleobury and then left again when it meets the A4117 - you need not enter Cleobury Mortimer. The meeting place is a converted coach house to your left as you approach the main house.

Clive Lodge & St Mary's Lodge meet at the Grove Sixth Form Centre, Newcastle Road, Market Drayton. The Grove School is located on the eastern road into the town, and is thus most easily approached from the eastern (Newcastle) end, when it appears on your left soon after entering the built-up area. If you are approaching from the Shrewsbury/Telford direction, turn off for Market Drayton at the first roundabout and head for the town centre; after a mile or so you will be directed on a left-hand 'inner bypass' around the central area. Follow the signs for 'Other routes' until a sign appears for Newcastle. The Grove School is on your right as you climb slightly away from the commercial area.

Idsall Lodge meets at Haughton Hall, Haughton Lane, Shifnal. Leave the M54 at Junction 4, taking the A464 for Shifnal. On arrival at Shifnal, turn left into Haughton Lane at the first roundabout, and about 1/4 mile later Haughton Hall will be seen clearly signed on your left.

Old Ellesmerian Lodge meets at the Arts Centre, Ellesmere College, Ellesmere. Turn off the A528 Wrexham-Shrewsbury road in Ellesmere just north of the Mere, near to a petrol station, as though heading for the Town Centre. A left turn is soon apparent, signed Ellesmere College. Just over a bridge, turn left; the College is a further half a mile on your right. On entering the site keep straight on, the Arts Centre is visible on your right up a short incline. Please note: for other than local visitors, Ellesmere is best approached via the A5, turning east near Oswestry via Whittington (about 6 miles).
