FROM THE EAST
Brethren,
I am humbled, and at the same
time, honored, having been elected and installed as Worshipful Master of Penns
Grove-Excelsior Lodge #54 for the year
2007. Congratulations and thank you to the appointed and elected officers who
will sit on the level this year. This Lodge
exists not only because of the Officers, but also because of you, the
individual active Member. Although
elected as Master to assist in and conduct the necessary general business, in
reality, I have been elected to serve you, the individual Lodge Member. In turn
I ask what are your ideas, suggestions and issues? Bring them to each regular meeting and speak up! A Lodge
cannot fix or start something that we do not have knowledge of. With
work schedules, family commitments, and unexpected concerns that arise from
time to time that need our attention, it may
be difficult for the member to find the time to visit the Lodge. However,
participate when you can with the time you have. Come for a meeting, sit and
socialize with fellow Members, occupy a chair on the floor, when vacant, if
only for that meeting. Don’t worry about being a little rusty. Your
effort will go a long way toward helping your Lodge function for another uninterrupted year. On January 22 we have an EA
Degree. Please come out and watch the new Officers perform their work. Remember when you were entered and the sideline
was filled and the feeling you had
about your Fraternity!
Fraternally,
John P. Dyer

From the Secretary
I would like every member who has an email address to please send it to
me at the Lodge email address,
pennsgrovelodge54@yahoo.com. This will give you instant
information that would take days by mail and, in some cases, after the even has taken place. We do not send your
addresses to any other organization.
Thank you for your prompt payment
of dues. If you are having financial problems, please contact me by telephone
or email so we can make arrangements.
