GREETINGS FROM THE EAST
GREETINGS FROM THE EAST
It has been a very busy year for our lodge with a lot of accomplishments. We
have raised 12 brothers thus far and will raise Brian
Crislip and Jason Lee Jackson around the middle of December.
We have done
courtesy work for several lodges this year and have had several lodges do
courtesy work for us on the EA Degree. On November 29, we initiated Brothers Mike Fowler and Jason Dunn of GS Lodge 382 and one of our
own Brothers, Giovanni Cresta. There were 11 brethren of GS 382 in attendance who enjoyed the delicious dinner prepared by the Stewards.
You have to visit the lodge to see the improvements that have been made inside and out. We have the most beautiful lodge that I have ever
sat in, thanks primarily to Brother Grady Honeycutt and the other brothers who have contributed their time and efforts to improve the lodge.
Speaking of Brother Honeycutt, he was overwhelmingly selected as our Mason of The Year for Pawleys Island Lodge for 2007.
Don’t forget
our joint Christmas party with Murrells Inlet Lodge on December 7th at the Hanser House in Litchfield. The Social Hour begins at 6pm.
and we will dine at 7pm. The cost of the meal is approximately $26 per person. You can pay in advance or I will designate someone
to collect the money at the party. Call me, at 650 2800 or cell 457-8383 if you have not let me know you are coming. Guests are
welcome. We will have entertainment and a lot of surprise gifts for the ladies.
We have elected and installed our slate of officers
for 2008, with the exception of the Tiler and Senior Warden who will be installed at the December meeting. Brother Jeff Pelasara is
the incoming WM; Brothers, Steve Bosch, SW; Dru Keesler, Jr., JW; Jeff Evans, SD; Mark Koehler, JD; Dean Estes, Chaplain; Steve Lacy,
Tiler and last but not least, WB Bill Rice, Treasurer; WB Peteet, Secretary. Thanks for the great year. I have enjoyed serving
you.
Fraternally Yours, Bob Cape
Thank You for all your help and
support,
Bob Cape, WM |
