My
Brothers,
As you may or
may not be aware, our Masonic Relief Funds are in dire straits. Over the
past two years alone, we have had to nearly cut in half the amount of money
we are able to send our worthy distressed Master Masons, their widows and
orphans during their greatest time of financial need.
For only one
single solitary penny a day from each Master Mason in South Carolina, we
can restore our Masonic Relief Fund to a level which can provide some actual
relief to these needy souls. That's only a paltry $3.65 a year. Chances
are that you can now see at least that much change within sight of you
as you are reading this.
It is hard to
believe that so insignificant an amount of money as a penny a day could
do so much good, but indeed it not only can, but will if each and every
Brother participates.
If each Brother
will send in $3.65 today, and then send in another $3.65 on each of their
Masonic Birthdays in the coming years, we will be able to adequately fulfill
the sworn obligation we each took to care for our needy Brethren.
Please join
us in this most noble bedrock of our fraternity. Send in your check today.
Or what better way to get rid of that bulky jar of pennies you've been
pushing from side to side across your desk or dresser for far too long?
Then make it an annual tradition of your Masonic Journey to do this each
year as a celebration of the day you became both a Man and a Mason. Together,
we can change the world.
Each and every
penny counts.
Please contact
your Lodge Secretary for details. Of course, please feel free to send more
if you possibly can.
If you are not
currently affliated with a Lodge in the state or are outside of South Carolina
and would like to help support these worthy souls in their time of need,
we will be happy to relay 100% of your contribution to this fund.
