Due to the recent wind storm in the Madisonville area, The Salvation Army experienced a large increase in families needing food and shelter. On September 16, 2008, Madisonville Masonic Lodge No. 143 presented The Salvation Army with a substantial donation of canned foods to help the shelter in their time of need.

Saturday, Sept 20 th was family day for Madisonville Lodge # 143. The event was held at the Madisonville city park. Great food, plenty of fun games for the adults and children, and friendship was the theme of the day. Thank you to all the brothers, family and friends for attending.
Tuesday Oct 7th, Madisonville Lodge # 143 had very special degree work. Brother Carl Snyder was raised to the sublime degree of Master Mason. Immediately following, his son Shawn Snyder was initiated as our newest Entered Apprentice. To add to the special night, brother Carl performed the role of Senior Deacon for his son brother Shawn. Thanks to all of the members for performing outstanding degree work. A very exciting night for Madisonville Lodge # 143.
Tuesday Oct 21st, Brother Jeremy Jessup was raised to the sublime degree of Master Mason. Thanks to all who attended this special event for brother Jeremy.
In addition, brother Shawn Snyder presented his Entered Apprentice proficiency and was passed to the satisfaction of the lodge.
Saturday Oct. 25th, Madisonville Lodge # 143 held it's annual Past Masters dinner and awards night. Thanks to Brother Keith Riddle for organizing the event and providing a wonderful meal. An additional thanks to the women and family that support us and helped prepare the meal. During the ceremonies, Brother Carl and Brother Jeremy were presented with their Master Mason Aprons by Master Daniel Franklin and Secretary Alan Shepherd.
Tuesday Nov. 4th, Brother Shawn Snyder recieved his Fellow Craft Degree. Brother Alan Shepherd (Secretary) conferred the 2nd degree. Thanks to all the members of the lodge for their help and participation.
In addition, Brother Jimmy Justice and Brother Carl Snyder (Not pictured) delivered their Master Mason proficiency and were passed to the satisfaction of Lodge # 143.
Tuesday Nov. 18th, Brother Rodney Sumner was initiated as our newest Entered Apprentice. Brother Dennis Moore conferred the degree. Thanks to all the brethren for their participation.
Thursday Nov. 27th, Madisonville Lodge # 143 received the 2009 website award certificate from the Grand Loge Of Kentucky. Brother Keith Dreier (Past Grand Master and Webmaster) reviewed Madisonville's site and presented the certificate. Thank you brother Keith from Madisonville Lodge # 143.
Tuesday, December 2nd, Madisonville Lodge # 143 conferred the sublime degree of Master Mason on brother Shawn Snyder. Daniel Franklin (WM), conferred the degree with the help of the brethren of the lodge. The degree work was outstanding. Thanks to all for their assistance in raising brother Shawn.
