Tuesday, April 8th, Madisonville Lodge # 143 was treated to a surprise visit from the Grand Master of the state of Kentucky, Brother Herman M. Forrester. He was accompanied by the Grand Senior Deacon of the state of Kentucky, Brother Billy M. Taylor. Madisonville lodge was honored to have the Grand Master and Grand Senior Deacon in attendance. Grand Master Forrester gave a speech during the good of the order that was enlightening and truly motivational. Thank you Brother Forrester and Brother Taylor, it was a visit we will not forget.
Thursday, May 14th, Madisonville Lodge # 143 was presented with the Salvation Army's civic award for their contribution to the food programs established to help feed the hungry. Madisonville lodge was recognized for their donations during the wind storm damage in 2008 and the ice storm donations in 2009.
Thursday, May 14th, Madisonville Lodge # 143 was honored to have Brother Doc Anderson(Grand Lodge Committeeman and Master Ritualist), perform the staircase lecture for Brother Chris Fields. Doc's lecture was flawless and inspirational. Thank you Doc for giving your time to our lodge.
