As they say
" knock and ye shall find"
Well, we meet on the 3rd Monday of each month except July and August. Our meetings usually start at 7pm. Introduce
yourself and you will be certain to be made welcome.
We meet in Fern Avenue Masonic Hall (off Osborne Rd) which is close to both Jesmond and West Jesmond Metro stations.
Follow the signs to the "Antiques' Village" and we are above the shops.
Off-Road Parking is available in front of, and behind the shops.
Our night of Installation is November and it is unique what with the bugler and all. However at our installation you would need to book ahead to be certain of a place at the festive board. Contact us (by clicking on the envelope below) if you wish to know more.
Can I state at the onset that there is no requirement to be a member of the Royal British Legion in order to join Legion Lodge. We have no direct link with the RBL.

Generally speaking, though, nowadays, we do ask friends, family and workmates if they would like to join us.
As long as you are Male, 21 years of age and over, and of good report, email me and we can take it from there.
If you wish to know more then I can do no better than to direct you to the site of the
If they can't explain what Freemasonry is all about then we may as well all go home now.
What I would like to say in addition to what you will learn from the above site, is that Freemasonry does provide the opportunity to try out many skills that perhaps are not taught or that you, as an individual, have not had the chance to experience elsewhere e.g. you may well like to

Above all Freemasonry is fun. Most lodges have a social programme far wider than just the lodge meetings themselves. Through masonry I have met people from many countries and I have become firm friends with quite a few.
Please do visit the UGLE site above, and please do visit other sites from my LINKS page; many do have "What is Freemasonry" sections. If you have any questions then click on the envelope and I will try my best to give you an answer.
Should you wish to join us here at Legion Lodge, then contact us (by clicking on the envelope below) and we will take it from there.
