O.C. WILSON SCOTTISH RITE CLUB

The September 2000 meeting of the O.C. Wilson Scottish Rite Club was held at the Masonic Center in Hannibal, Missouri.  The meeting opened at 7:30pm with the following members presiding:

                         

            J.R. Latta 32° (President)

            Christopher Billups 32° (Secretary)

            David Priest 32° (Treasurer)

            Ben Buss 32° (Board Member)

1.      Call to Order.

 

2.      Reading and Approval of Minutes

 

3.      Treasurer’s Report

v     $91.61

v     6 members have paid their dues

 

4.      Reports of Adopted Programs

v     JR reported on the dental clinic transportation program.  Marion County Health Department ran an article in the paper about the transportation we provided for parents day.

v     JR reported on the VA Clinic in Kirksville.  It was discussed how we could get one started in Hannibal.  JR stated that he would check into it.

 

5.      Reports on Special Committees

v     By Laws Committee – Currently working on the bylaws for our club.  They have obtained a copy of the bylaws of the Valley of Columbia and are going over them.

 

6.      Old Business

v     Club decided on second Tuesday of the month at 7:30 as our regular meeting time.

v     The letter of introduction was completed.

v     Jeff was still working on getting the membership cards done.

 

7.      New Business

v     We reported that there was a 4 bodies meeting in Columbia on the 23rd of August.  We made preparations to present our club with a letter of introduction.
