| Eastern Star Chapter. When their organist could no longer play it,
the organ started to gather dust. Virginia Prince, Worthy Matron of the
Eastern Star Chapter of Loris #106, spoke to Bill McGrath about lending
the organ to the Gurley Baptist Church in Loris. Since our Lodge never
used the organ, a decision was made to give the organ to the church in
hopes that it would further the work of the Lord. On Sunday, February
18, 2007, Grand Strand Lodge #392 presented the organ to the church.
Chris Holland met with Reverend Billy Hachett, Pastor, Virginia Prince,
Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star Chapter of Loris #106, and members of
the church choir to complete the transaction. We will continue to research Grand Strand Lodge No. 392 history and update our Web Site, accordingly.
