Message from the Worshipful Master
Brethren,
This is a special time for me, which brings me to the pinnacle of my
duties in the Lodge. I am ever so proud being part of this Lodge and thank you
all for the great honor you bestowed on me.
The previous Masters
of Reuven Lodge set a very high standard and placed the Lodge among the sister Lodges as one that does loyal job with good
reputation and high performance ability. Trying to meet these expectations is a
big challenge, and I know we will meet them and try even harder to set a higher
bar.
We are the younger generation who has to move the Lodge onward. We need to ask for advice from the previous generation, one who has passed a long way in the order and it's mysteries. I am sure that all brethren will be part of this Lodge's success.
Filling the ranks is important as is the quality of the brethren. In the past year the Lodge was blessed with good brethren, and the better we'll be, the more people will seek our companionship and will ask to join.
We are able, clever, experienced, and as a group we'll make our Lodge number 1 like it's number.
I see the office
bearers of the Lodge as the ones who will actually do the work, and all the
past Masters as consultants in all matters. From this day on, there are no more
problems in the lodge, but challenges, and we will confront and turn every
obstacle into an opportunity.
My sisters, the
Lodge's spouses, you are the life and soul that strengthen us. I hope we will
learn to make the best, using your special abilities, to have the Lodge active
outside the
Parts of the Lodge's
activities are not pure Masonic, but related to the community. I think that the
feminine abilities and deep understanding can be exploited for those
activities.
