Message from the Worshipful Master
Dear Brethren, |
It is truly an honor to have been selected by my mother
lodge Reuven № 1 to
serve as its new Master for the next 2 years' the first of which is, as you all
know, our lodge's 75th anniversary.
I have chosen the motto "Inspire through Education and
Excellence." Now, at first glance' this might seem a little arrogant or presumptuous
on my part' but it Is not meant to be either. I truly
believe that if we all, as officers and more importantly the members of the Lodge, educate ourselves and strive for excellence, then we
will be successful in al we do. I want to set the standards high, because I am
confident that we can live up to those highest of standards.
I am quite proud of the elected officers, and I look
forward to serving with each and every one of them. All of them have the right
attitude, expressed a desire to serve, and are committed to this Lodge and the
hard work that it would take to make things run smoothly.
Throughout this term I am planning to focus on Masonic
educational monthly meetings, and in promotion of the "Brain Storming
team" that started lately and engage in implementation of endogenous as
well as exogenous social and community activity.
I truly believe that the more you contribute from your
inner-self into something, the more you get rewarded by it. Freemasonry is not
different. The more you share and donate of our time and talents, the more you
learn and grow – or in other words, get nearer to the exogenous
and the endogenous light. According to the ideas of Working together and
employing the Team concept, everyone has to participate and must come on board
as a member of the team. It is my sincere hope that I will be able to obtain
the most of our member activity as they are taking part in the Lodge's
development. Our Lodge shall only be as good as its members that come out and
support it.
Therefore, your attendance and participation are very
important, because it doesn't do anyone any good if he only pays his dues and
carries a membership card in your wallet. Come out, and see what all the doing
is about! It is going to be an exciting term and I look forward work and
serving with each and every one of you.
Fraternally
