From the EastPosted Monday, 12/14/2009 - by WB Adam Wilson Greetings Brethren, This should be the last post from me as your Worshipful Master. As I have said before, it was truly an honor serving the Lodge. I look forward to the new Officers moving up and wish them a fun and successful year!
At our last stated meeting we welcomed our newest Brother into the Fraternity. Brother Chris Harmon received his Entered Apprentice Degree prior to our Stated Meeting. Congratulations Brother and Welcome! We look forward to you advancing in the Fraternity and returning your examination soon.
I would also like to once again thank all of the Officers and Brethren from Madison Lodge #221 from the 9th District located in West Jefferson, which is my plural Lodge and will be serving as Master there in the upcoming year, for there unselfish acts of Brotherly Love and Relief. These Brothers once again have helped out our Lodge by donating their former Craft Aprons. These Brothers also donated their former Officer Aprons earlier in the year. Words cannot express our feelings of gratitude we have for these Brothers. Thank you all very much!!!!!
Our Annual Officer Installation has been scheduled for Saturday, December 19th at 7:00pm. Please try to attend this event to support your newly elected Officers.
The calendar has also been updated to reflect any upcoming events, inspections, etc…
And last but not least, I have kept the post from our Secretary below, so please remit your dues as soon as possible, if you have not already done so.
From the Secretary: Brethren, if you are reading this and have not yet sent in your yearly dues, they are now considered past due. Please don’t delay, and send in your dues as soon as possible. 2nd notices will be mailed out, and that will be additional costs that the Lodge will have to incur for stamps, that could be better be spent elsewhere as you can see above. Please contact the Secretary if you are having circumstances that are hindering you from paying your dues, and we may be able to assist you if necessary. We sure don’t want to lose a Brother for “Suspension of Non Payment of Dues”, if at all possible! As always Brethren, please continue to keep our “Sick & Distressed” in your prayers. Finally, Brethren, be ye all of one mind - live in peace; and may the God of love and peace delight to dwell with and bless us. Amen
Sincerely & Fraternally, Adam Wilson - Worshipful Master |
