Greetings From The East
March 2005
Brethren,
As I look back in March, I can
safety say that March came in like a
lion and left as a lion. I say a
lion to represent the
conviction and enthusiasm
of our Lodge as we completed an
Entered Apprentice Degree on March
4, a Fellow Craft Degree on March 18
and several committee meetings
during the month.
We also found time to visit our
brethren at Pikes Peak Lodge #5
(Prince Hall Lodge) and also
attended our Job's Daughter Bethel
#23 meeting, as well as attending
our stated meetings. These
activities are a good sign not only
of the dedication of our officers
but of the Lodge brethren who also
participated in these various
events.
We gained new friends when we
visited the Prince Hall Lodge, Pikes
Peak Lodge #5, on March 15.
Worshipful Master Arnold Bell
introduced us to his Lodge and we
felt welcomed by the warn fellowship
which resulted during and after the
meeting.
Looking forward to April, our
calendar is full of activities, with
advancements through the Degrees of
Masonry and a "Dinner and a Movie"
on April 29 at the Masonic Center.
The movie is "National
Treasure,"which will be shown in the
American Room. This is open to all,
so please invite your family and
friends to attend.
I would like to introduce our Jr.
Steward, Pat Quigley. Br. Pat is
new to the officers line and has
accepted the responsibility of
providing our refreshments on a
weekly basis. As you can tell by
our fellowship during refreshments,
our refreshments have been great.
Not only does Bro. Pat fulfill his
Jr. Steward responsibilities, but he
is active in the Masonic ritual work
during various degree nights.
Fraternal best wishes,
Vince Anderson, WM
