Bud Kelsh was initiated into the Masonic
Fraternity in Humbird, Wisconsin in 1947.
Shortly after that he took a job with A.T.& T. Co. on a
traveling crew, later
transferring to Northwestern Bell in North Dakota.
As soon as he was settled he continued his Journey taking the
Fellowcraft Degree in
Sheldon , N.D. and later Raised to the Sublime Degree of a Master Mason
in
his home lodge in Wisconsin in 1951.
He transferred to Shiloh #1 and served as Worshipful Master in 1965-66
He is
currently Senior Warden of Daylight Lodge #135.
He is a life Member of the Valley of Fargo, Scottish Rite. He was
invested
with Knight Commander Court of Honor in 1971 and Coroneted with the 33rd
degree in 1975.
He served on the Board of Trustees for the Scottish Rite
Holding Company and was President for 18 years.
He is a life member of the El Zagal Shrine and has been a member of the
Shrine Big Band for over 20 years.
He retired from Northwestern Bell in 1983 after more then 35 years
service
